Our experience of Koss was not positive. My finacee and I were charged $46 for two application fees when we applied for a property under the agreement that it would be refunded if we did not meet the basic requirements and that the credit check on us would not be performed until then. However, our agent Gail was so disorganized that she forgot (supposedly) and performed the check right away (again, supposedly). Our application was denied based on a technicality that we were up front about from the beginning, and even though our agent Gail promised to return our application fee if this happened, it did not materialize. Instead we were sent an unprofessional excuse letter by Tamara, stating completely false info about what happened even though she hadn't been there for the verbal agreement.
We hadn't see all the other bad reviews of this company when we applied to rent so we are now relieved not to have rented from them, but they made a mistake at our expense and therefore still have $46 of ours that is not rightly theirs to have. It was amazing how they went from acting friendly and potite to being extremely rude and dishonest once they were done with us.
Do not do business with these people, we didn't expect such shady behavior in Seattle, especially when our agent gave us such a "Trust me!" attitude at the beginning. If there is ever a class action against this company we would like to be involved in it.
