Even if you do manage to find something you want in the salvage buildings, there's an excellent chance they won't sell it to you anyways. TWICE in a row, I've found items (some steel table legs, an old Civil Defense Geiger counter) that the guy in the store refused to sell to me. Finding cool items and/or bargains is only cool if you can convince someone to actually sell it to you...
