Our oldest son wanted to take karate so we visited a few schools in our area. Tristar was the best and they had a nice introductory offer. We signed up for a year and he just loved it for about 6 months. At that point he got busy with school and had less time to practice. Unfortunately we couldn't get out of our contract so we paid for a half year of nothing. I also found out that they didn't apply the free first month to our account. So we ended up with a lot of expensive equipment and 6 more months of payments. The school is pretty good and the instructors deal well with all age groups. At this time we're considering a school which doesn't require a contract especially considering that kids change their minds so often.
