Tristar Martial Arts is overcrowded, overpriced, and overrated. If they were as good as the self promotion indicates, they would have more long time, returning students. It seem...

Truly exceptional school 11/11/2006

Tristar Martial Arts is an exceptional school! My son started training at Tristar a few years ago. After seeing significant improvement in his physical fitness, self-confidence and self-discipline, I decided to try it myself. We both love it! The instructors are amazing when teaching all ages and skill levels and instill a "can do" attitude in all their students. They lead by example! more

Awesome school for kids and adults 10/31/2006

I've been at Tristar Martial Arts Academy since it opened and it continues to impress me. The classes are high energy with little downtime and the Instructors do an incredible job with their students from the four year olds to the adults. Definitely a must for anyone who wants a practical form of self defense. more

Nice school for any level with caring staff. 3/15/2006

Our oldest son wanted to take karate so we visited a few schools in our area. Tristar was the best and they had a nice introductory offer. We signed up for a year and he just loved it for about 6 months. At that point he got busy with school and had less time to practice. Unfortunately we couldn't get out of our contract so we paid for a half year of nothing. I also found out that they didn't apply the free first month to our account. So we ended up with a lot of expensive equipment and 6 more months of payments. The school is pretty good and the instructors deal well with all age groups. At this time we're considering a school which doesn't require a contract especially considering that kids change their minds so often. more
