when I was at nicholls we would often hold our club meetings here. it is spacious and the coffee and pastaries are delicious. What is better than conversation with friends and good eats. Nice roomy atmosphere, usually alot of NSU kids and their lap tops. A great place to gather and just hang out a bit, and located close to NSU.

down home and friendly when u walk into this place everyone is friendly their is always one person we know that is there eating it is like going to a relatives house it is really nice to go eat at a place and bring the kids and know and feel that u r welcome the servers are very friendly and the food always taste fresh and hot and the owners little boy is always there to greet everyone it is such a great atmoshere with plenty of light and light music on the radio in my opinion its the best place in thibodaux

I highly recommend this store. Very well lit, friendly staff, excellent service and exceptionally clean for a conveince store. All coffee/drink machines are cleaned at the end of every shift. Floors and parking lot are swept every shift, and floors are mopped.

Malt-N-Burger has been around town as long as I have and the policy of customer satisfaction has never changed, even though the owners have changed over the years.
Malt-n-Burger was original a drive in burger place, offering some of the best food in town as early as the late 1960's, but they were probably around before that. The hamburgers and poboys, as well as all the hot food selections are always served hot and fresh, each order made as the orders are placed.
Thier chicken is freshly battered, floured, and fried daily for lunch orders, then after lunch, chicken orders are a 30 minute wait as the chicken is fried fresh.
The banana splits and shakes are to die for and resonably priced compared to the quality of food recieved. The owners are out to please the customers and are only satisfied if the customers come back for more. It's a reflection on the business, how the business is run, and the workers there.
So if you are ever in Thibodaux, I highly recommend you stopping on by Malt-N-Burger for your blast from the past. I recommend the fried chicken, banana splits, and bottle tops which are deep fried halapeno peppers.

Both Bubba's and Bubba II are big supporters of our local football teams. Inside of either restraurant jerseys, helmets, hats, posters, etc line the walls. Both are located on Hwy 308 about 1/2 mile from each other. Both restraurants are almost like a museum of artifacts from area sports teams, some of the items date back 10-20 years.
So what's the difference between Bubba and Bubba's II?? Bubba II is a poboy and seafood shop. Here the staff are dressed in shorts and t-shirts, so the atmosphere is very relaxed and casual. They do serve steaks or lobsters on certain nights of the month, but for the most part they are strictly poboys and seafood cooked anyway the patron wants.
The restraurant has more than ample space to sit big crowds and offer televisions in about every corner so no big play is ever missed.
The food is always fresh, seasoned just right, and all serving are very generous portions. I highly recommend Bubba's II, they are a little more pricey than other seafood and poboy shops, but I always have a to go plate, which is another meal for me, so it's well worth the money.

I recently visited the huddle house in thibodaux, there is a server named savannah. She is the best to me. She is sooo polite and she makes sure that her customers get the best there is. My food wasn't cooked right and she made them re-cook it just to make sure it was the best. It didn't dissappoint me because she came to me and told me that she didn't like the way to food was fixed and she made them re-cook it. That is one server that respects her customers. If you ever eat there try to get her as your server.

Malt-n-Burger is another establishment that has been around probably longer than I have. This business is a drive in to where you park under the awning, order, and eat or take the food home.
The owner is a wonderful person who is after customer satisfaction being a top priority. I know one time the cook forgot to put a hamburger in my bag, and the owner drove out to my house to hand deliver...what better service can a person ask for.
Malt n Burger has excellent food, from burgers, to poboys, to plate lunches during the week. My family and I also love the fried chicken. My personal favorite is the roastbeef poboys.
Sandwiches are also available as a combo with a set price and is served with a soda and fries.
PROS: location, excellent food, great service, parking lot fixed, easier access

Ever had red beans stuffed potatoes?? How about a potato stuffed with shrimp and cheese?? Well if not, you should really treat yourself.
The food is prepared as it's ordered so give it a little time. Prices are about 6 bucks for a large baked potato stuffed with shrimp and cheese. Some potato prices are a little more, others are a little less depending on if seafood is one of the ingredients.
The potatoes are available in small and large. The large potatoes are always more than enough for one meal for me and i end up taking some home.
Cajun Potato also serves pizzas. My family and I haven't tried this yet, but from I hear others say the pizzas are just as good as the potatoes. And at one time the pizzas were one price no matter what toppings went with the pizza.

This place has excellent seafood pizza made with crab, shrimp and some sort of cheese, i highly recommend. They also have a salad buffet bar, a friendly environment to enjoy with your dinner group, games for the children to play, and spacious dining area so you don't feel like you are sitting on top of your neighbor at the next table.
By far the best pizza place in town.
PROS: spacious dining area, great pizza, friendly service
CONS: the fact that they don't deliver
