Topstone is a decent course, andis maintained very well. The layout is not very unique but is is prety open and straight for the most part. Good course to play on if you want to spend the money, as I think it is a bit overpriced for what they offer. They do have a good restaurant though.

I am not a member of this club, but I have been there as a guest - and I have never been to a cooler place. Not only is there a great outdoor pool and nice tennis courts, but there is a volleyball net and small soccer field. The sense of community at this place is great - everyone seems to know eachother and everyone is fairly friendly - there is also a swim team there. As a bonus - it had the best pick up volleyball that i have ever played outside of a club. Awesome Place!

Although I enjoy a good golf game every once and a while - I do not play nearly enough to become proficiant at the game. Often times, long fairways and difficult bunkers really make for a miserable afternoon for me. Thats why I love Willowbrook Golf Course. It is a great course for the monthly, or bimonthly duffer who just wants to have a good time. The fairways are short, as are the distances between holes. The grounds are also very well maintained and the course itself has a great ambiance. The only problem with this course at all is the way that the fairways seem to lie right on top of one another - making for a rather dangerous situation sometimes. All in all though, great course for begginers.

A friend introduced me to this small building off a busy road a few years ago. However, inside the run-down building, the owners have fused bumper cars with sport to create a game called Whirly Ball. Essentially two teams drive around in bumper cars trying to scoop up a ball and score on the opponents goal. It is very fun. However, there are a few cons. Nobody under the age of 11 is allowed to play and the building smells of smoke and is a bit dirty and grungy. However, if all this is ignored, you can really ahve a great competitive outing.
