I like going to Shelby Cafe. They serve great breakfast. Even if the power goes out, this restaurant stays open. They are nice and kind, and you usually don't have to wait that long on your meal. They have specials as well. Half of Shelby goes there. They have been in business since "coon's ages." They are very good. I love restaurants that are home-owned as well. This one is.

Shelby Fish Camp is the best. We had great service almost immediately upon seating ourselves. The menu was explained to us. The waitress was very helpful in answering any questions and was generally a nice person. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. My husband and I will frequent this place often.

Fatz Cafe is a place to go to get together with friends or take the whole family. I found the service to be excellent, the food delicious, and the environment very pleasant. The only thing I was bothered about was I took my elderly mother and the music was a little too loud for her to hear me when we talked at times.

We go to Beefy's when our purse is near empty for a treat that doesnt feel like we spent so little. The cole slaw is the best. I enjoy their hot dogs the most although they have great fries and other foods that my family eats also. The service is quick at a drive thru only and packaged allowing you to get it home or to the park hot and ready to eat. They provide napkins and condiments also without you having to ask for them or charge you extra.

I love going to Don's Italian Restaurant. The taste is wonderful. I love the employees at this restaurant. They are nice and kind and really keep watch over your table. Since this is the only Italian restaurant in Shelby, I am thankful that it is good. I'd be disppointed if we didn't have a great Italian restaurant. They have other items as well, such as hoagies and non-Italian appetizers like chicken fingers.

Bridges Barbecue Lodge Inc is the best BBQ place in town. In fact, people from from other states to this restaurant. We love going there because we know not only will we like the restaurant and everything about it, that we will be back again and again and again. The food is great, and the servers are good. They have recently raised their prices, which wasn't so good. But, we'll still go there. Recommended this restaurant at five stars.

Dennys is always a treat for my family. We go at least once a week and have breakfast for dinner. The service is always great and their daily specials are a temptation for us. I enjoy the location right next to the shopping mall in Shelby also. This is definitely a meal out that is worthy for the family.

Moved here in January 2007 and the first place we ate at was Ichabod's. They have a WONDERFUL selection of different types of foods, main dishes, appetizers and sandwiches. Everything we've tried was very good. It's just too bad they couldn't have put the place on Moss Lake with a water view. Still in all, it's a great place to eat!

I LOVE APPLEBEE'S. Especially the Carside To Go for pickups. I have ordered careside more than I've eaten inside the place - busy and on the go! I especially like the potatoes - creamed with the skins on I guess. Anyway, they're tops! And the steaks are awesome. I was pleasantly surprised the first time I ordered steak carside and it was tender, still hot, and flat out delicious!!! Applebee's is real good eatin' in the neighborhood of Shelby. Try it out if you haven't already. You won't be disappointed.
