Sandy's Country Christmas is the best place ... ever. Don't think it's only for Christmas because it is not. There are so many things in there for all kinds of holidays. You will want to spend a long time in there if you have never gone. Even me, a regular customer, well uh I, spend hours in there on each visit. There is so many great bargains and gems in there. I always get service with a smile. I recommend Sandy's Country Christmas at four stars. Please! If you have never gone, you are missing a treat! Go and go now!

I have been dealing with Holly's Flowers at 109 East Graham Street in Shelby for a long time. They are the greatest. In fact, I trust them so much I don't even have to come in to order. I just call them and tell them what occasion I want something for. I then tell them what I am looking for. They make suggestions sometimes, and in a few minutes I am off the phone. Delivery is wonderful. They are reliable and dependable. I recommend this florist very highly.

I love going to Claire's Boutiques, plain and simple. Besides selling women's unique clothing and accessories, they do ear piercings (other piercings negotiable I think). They have a great selection of jewelry, some even exclusive upscale homemade. They have a gigantic selection of clearance and sale items, and you can walk away like a bandit buying those sale and clearance items. I went the other day, and I giving this store five stars based on that visit. Everything was great, and I wasn't disappointed at all with any aspect of the visit. I left with my pocketbook a little lighter, but an arm full of bags filled to the hilt.

I always use Mike's Florist for special occasions. My mother and dad live in Shelby, and I live in Pensacola, Florida, and I have never had my mother say anything but praise about the floral arrangements and gift baskets that the staff are gracious to assist me with. I will not use another business for my parent's special occasions.Thank you,Marion Wetherbee

Diamond Pawn is located near Patelli's Pizza on South Lafayette Street. I simply love going there because quite frankly I never know what I will find. They have weird items such as golf balls. I don't mean weird, I guess. I mean different items than other pawn shops have. I like this pawn shop better than all the others. Parking is good, and I like the location (centrally located). It's also a home-owned business. Recommended highly.

UA Thrift is located in front of Kate's Skating Rink on Lafayette Street jus down the road from Christ the King Church. This business is a thrift store that has been open for several years. You never know what you will find in here. You'll find lesser quality of items in here than you will at upscale thrift stores, such as Goodwill. But I like this place a lot because they give all their profits to area non-profit organizations like the Women's Shelter and the Humane Society. Every time I shop there I know I am helping others. You'll always find a lot of sales here. Some times it's shoes; sometimes it's clothes; Etc. I love going here for used items. They have knick-knacks as well. The price is just right, with many items being really cheap.

Anna Rose Florist is the best florist I have used in a long time. They are nice and kind and know how to get and keep customers. Their flowers are fresh, and well-kept. I like the flower arrangements. Most of them are unique. I went in to get an arrangement for a funeral. I was in and out in no time at all. The price was reasonable. I will be going back to Anna Rose Florist on Washburn Switch Road because they are the best. If you are looking for a gift, they have them as well ! !

Betty Jo's Florist is a great little florist. But their florist is great. I have found them in a great location. Their flowers stay fresher than other florists in the area. I usually call them, and they intake the information. Sometimes they make suggestions based on what they have available at that time. Other times, exactly what I want is what I get. I am off the phone in minutes. It's that easy. So that is why I recommend Betty Jo's Florist. They are the best. Four stars!

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is wonderful. I like going to Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont, all of them. This location is great. It's a big store. They have a lot of knick-knacks, as well as clothing. I think their strength is children and adult clothes. They have better clothes here than the other thrift stores in the area. Most clothing for adults is $3.79 each. Dresses, Suits, Coats, blue jeans are more. Chiildren's clothing is $2.49 each. The bathroom frequently needs attention, though. I do like going to Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont, and you will as well.

Boiling Springs Florist is the best in the area. I have used them for years, and I have always been very satisified with them. I love their delivery service, too. They are fast and efficient. Their prices are good, and I like the fact you can not only order on the phone, but you can go in and order by sight or by catalog. If you do not see anything you like, then they will make it for you based on what you tell them. The location is good, and they get a lot of student and University business. I think they have a handle on the business in this area. Recommended!
