Each time I visit Redding, I always have to stop at Shopko. This store is fantastic. They have great deals, deals that Target and Walmart don't. They have great clearance sections where you can find items that are great. This store is always clean, and the staff is very helpful. They have self check out if you are in a hurry as well. We have purchased some great items from this place to take home with us. Shopko needs to expand, we need one closer!

To make the house look more festive, we buy cheap party decorations like streamers, balloons, paper plates, napkins, and signs at the Dollar Tree. They also have shiny metallic party hats and noisemakers. We usually grab a few mylar balloons for the New Year mixed in with the regular helium balloons and let them float to the ceiling. Then we put up the streamers and throw some confetti on the tables.

Pier 1 is a fun place to go to buy accents and accessories for the house. I love to buy their candles, table linens, and napkins. They tends toward the modern look with ethnic designs, with many items being imported from India and China. Prices are very affordable, especially for stemware. They often have sales and coupons as well for extra savings.

I must shop at Target at least twice a month to stock up on most of my essential house supplies, food, gifts, clothing, and toiletries. I used to shop more at Walmart, because their prices tend to be slightly lower than Target's on most items. However, the shopping experience is much better at Target than at Walmart. The store is laid out better, it is cleaner, and the design and quality of their company products are much better in my opinion.
