My whole family loves The Thai Cafe! This is one of my fav restaurants in Redding. The food is fresh, authentic, and reasonably priced. The wait staff is very friendly! Well worth trying! You will not be disappointed!

Sunset market has a lot of flies especially at Sushi Bar, I found that Sushi bar used not fresh raw and they even used expired things. Check it carefully. I was sick after I eat their sushi. Be ware.

The Sailing Boat combines great food and great service with affordable prices. I have tried many of their dishes and have never been disappointed. The food is fresh and served in a timely manner. They offer good specials every day. I've taken friends and family here, and even had them cater an event. Outstanding.

Overall, the sushi is very good and fresh. And the owner is Japanese. It is a small, very simply decorated restaurant with only one sushi chef, but a good place to go without too much wait time. There is good attention to detail, like thinly sliced lime between the salmon sushi. The sushi is probably better than the kitchen prepared foods, which is fair, and price is reasonable. Sakura has good traditional Japanese sushi at affordable prices. I wish that they were opened for longer hours, though.

Although Cattlemens is a chain restaurant, they do make darn good steaks! It is always crowded at Cattlemens, but you can order a drink or appetizer and wait in the saloon before heading out towards the restaurant. There are TVs in the saloon as well, if you want to catch a game. The steaks come with baked potato, beans, and fresh baked sourdough bread. The steaks are all Harris Ranch meats and consistently delicious. Each time I've gone to Cattlemen's I've had a pleasant experience, and the service has been good. Sometimes you'll have to wait, but I think it's worth it.

I was really impressed. Although the outside makes it look like a small warehouse, the inside is clean and nicely decorated. It is small though so it does not really work for big groups but the food is very impressive. Great menu, very reasonable, good sized portions. I would definitely recommend it.

Nellos Place is a wonderfull fine dinning reasturant in Redding.All of the waiters,bussboys/girls are outstanding!my experience at this reaturant was probably the best experience at a reasurant in a very long time! this reasturant is a little expensive.but it is very worth it. and the remodleing is just magnificent
