I have seen plenty of OB/GYNs in my years of moving around. When I first met Dr. Pena, I knew he was not just another "man" who didn't understand. He is a wonderful, compassionate, caring physician who actually listens to you and gives you all of your options. He is not the typical physician who has it in his mind that there is only one thing you can do, as I'm sure we have all come across. I have had plenty of obstacles to overcome and Dr. Pena has been right there by my side through it all. I would recommend him to anyone.
Pros: Great office and parking. Excellent physician

Wonderful, the employee all treated me with respect. And the Doctor treated me with true dignity. I would come back in a heart beat. This was the best experency I have ever had at Urgent Care.

The new office this group of OB/GYNs moved into is really nice. They have a play area for children in the waiting room and multiple patient rooms for private exams that are all decorated comfortably. Walking up a bunch of stairs from the parking lot can be avoided by parking next to the other suite- the Avalon medical rejuvenation/spa. My biggest complaint is that sometimes I had to wait forever in their waiting room for my appointment. If you’re on a tight schedule, this may not be the office for you. I like that they have global billing so you receive a monthly statement/bill instead of having to pay your co-pay in the office every time you go in to see the doctor.

Even to a person on a budget avoid this place. They have such poor service and an unhappy staff. They have people doing the work of a dental hygienist who are not at all trained and it shows. I would highly recommend going to any of the other places in town, seriously. This place really cuts corners anywhere they can and it shows in their work, dental work is not something to go cheap on.

This is a great all encompassing overview of childbirth for first time moms and their coaches! They offer five and six week classes (depending on what section of classes you sign up for so check the schedule). I liked that they included an evening on caesarean sections in case you do end up having one its nice to know what is going on. The classes also cover prenatal nutrition/health, beginning stages of labor, active pushing phase of labor, labor interventions, and postpartum care for mom and baby. You will also get to tour the labor and delivery rooms in the hospital and the maternity ward. Videos of actual births are shown in class and you practice relaxation and breathing at the end of each class. Natural child birth and pain relief are both covered in the class. Nurses encourage baby to room in with mom and are very supportive of moms who choose to breastfeed. The classes are definitely worth the money!

I went here to have an ultrasound of our baby done. Prior to my appointment they told me to bring a VHS tape so we could have the ultrasound recorded. It was fun to watch the tape after – it features the ultrasound screen and also has sound of us talking about what we’re looking at on the screen. We waited in a comfortable waiting/reception room and were seen on-time for our appointment. The technician was super nice and went slow and stopped and pointed out different features of the baby to us. She was very friendly and personable and positive about the baby’s features with comments like isn’t she cute. She made sure to ask us if we knew if it was a boy or girl so she didn’t spill the beans accidentally.

Thomas Wilson D.C. made such a difference in my pain and energy levels.
In the morning I had been waking more tired than when I went to bed, sleeping only a few hours at a time and feeling defeated.
After a few visits my old self started coming back and interest in life returned.
With no scheduled appointment you can just drop in as needed.

Wow, I just went to this wonderful Chiropractic Office, Chiropractic First. As soon as you walk through the door you see smiling faces, and the office is clean and beautiful. The service is wonderful and fast! You should definitely check it out.
It is located in the down town mall in Redding, CA.

Whenever I need to buy some over-the-counter medicines for the cold, flu, or other physical ailments I usually get to Rite Aide. This location is clean, neatly organized, and newer. I also like to get my prescriptions filled here. I received friendly helpful customer service here by the clerks, as well as the pharmacists. It's nice to pick up a yummy ice-cream on the way out. Their drive-through pharmacy service is convenient when you're in a rush.

Dr. Mooney is a very competent doctor. He informs patients about possible conditions, but doesn’t overload them with information until he is completely sure that they may have a particular problem. This has really saved me from a lot of worries during my pregnancy. He can seem a bit brisk sometimes in the busy office, but always takes time to answer any questions that I have. One of the things I am not a fan of is that he is part of a rotating group of doctors that deliver babies (you get the doctor who is on call if you deliver outside of normal business hours or on the weekend), but that seems to be pretty standard for a lot of doctors these days. He doesn’t automatically tell you how much your stomach is measuring (kind of no information unless there is a problem), but I do really like that he volunteers positive news frequently. He does two ultrasounds standard during most pregnancies and has his own equipment in the office so you won’t be sent somewhere else and have to see a technician (he does them all himself). The biggest complaint is that sometimes I had to wait forever in their waiting room for my appointment. You can be kept waiting over an hour some days. If you’re on a tight schedule, this may not be the office for you.
