They have the best sushi you can find in a grocery store. No preservatives, it is fresh, no sell by date like you find at other supermarkets. Very authentic and since it is all hand made, it has personality. I have noticed a lot of grocery stores now use sushi making machines, sort of like how a fast food restaurant operates, but this sushi is all hand made by the lovely Central ladies working behind the sushi bar. Delicious, I highly recommend it.

I walk into the store and instantly, I'm greeted with the scent of incense and antiquity. The atmosphere is comfy, so at the end of a hard day's work, I enjoy browsing the beautiful furniture of antiques and replicas. I dream of what my living room would look like with all the exquisite furniture. I love the Asian antiques the most, but there are tons of little whatcha-ma-call-its to view as well. I always feel right at home at Bad Blanche. I would love to buy every piece of furniture in there! Oh yeah, take advantage of the coffee and tea that's provided for all customers. Even if you aren't considering buying anything, it's such a great place to just stop by and dream at. :)

Great service. We had a delay of a few weeks between coats due to horrid WA weather, and contact was easy to maintain. Our house looks great. Very easy to work with, and they answered all of our silly questions throughout the process. I'd definitely call again.

Drove around the island looking for one for almost 40 min till I found this one. WA state law bans Liquor being sold in grocery stores, so I came here. Great selection and I had my Vodka Martini right when I got home!

This shop is CRAMMED full of baking and kitchen items. I would be very surprised if you couldn't find what you were looking for here. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This is a nursery that specialized in Rhododendrons and Azaleas. While they do offer other plants, rhodies and azaleas are where they truly shine. They have hundreds of varieties to choose from and many of them are on display there. They also have an extensive catalog that you can order from and the plants range from very early to very late blooming, and from small to huge. There is almost always something blooming there. And their quality is excellent. They have a small selection of other garden supplies and seeds as well.
Towards the end of the blooming season (usually around May), the rhodies go on sale. I have seen them as discounted as buy 2 get 1 free, but usually they are buy 3 get one free. I usually wait until they go on sale before I buy.
They are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

these people are awesome. They have been our source of topsoil and crushed rock for all of our landscaping needs. The best price around and great service. You can even find a coupon at times. We don't live real close to them and they still deliver!! The black basalt 3/4 minus crushed rock has been great- it all matches and their are not too many fines

Bad Blanche is a really neat store in Poulsbo, carrying furniture that looks old but really isn't and other neat home furnishings and gift items. I bought a great looking table there and was told I could come back and pick it up whenever. After several months had passed, I called them to schedule a tim to pick up the table but was told they had sold it. No problem, they could just issue me a refund check. However, several weeks have gone by and no check. Hopefully it's just a glitch, but if do you purchase something from Bad Blanche, be sure to take it with you!

a good selection of plants. Very informative on water gardens. She is the only one that I know in the county that offers such a wide selection of water lilies that are fragrant. She helps you take your plats to your car too. Annuals look nice and are priced right. She has many fruit tress to choose from too. Her prices are fair and it is a nice place to walk around and get ideas
