More 2 years ago
I have had the great privilege of knowing both Tony Pryor and Kim Young-Oak for the vast majority of my life. I first met them when Tony helped my mother and stepfather with pre-marital counseling when I was a child. In later years at the age of 14 Tony helped me to work through the grief of the unexpected death of my biological father. I connected with Tony so well that 10 years later and 3,000 miles away I still keep in close contact with him. He is and has always been there for me. Tony has truly helped me to become the person I am today, without him I am not sure who or where I would be in life.
Tony has this way of communicating with you, regardless of your age or life circumstances, that makes you feel at ease and comfortable. I have always felt this underlying sense of understanding and acceptance with Tony. Regardless of our personal age difference I have always trusted him and felt the ability to confide in him. His advice is impeccable and always right on, however he is very encouraging of you to make your own decisions, to follow your gut instincts, and go with what you feel. If you happen to be right he is even more happy for you, if you happen to be wrong and he was right (which is usually the case) he teaches you how to value that lesson.
Over the years both Tony and Kim have become integral members of my extended family. They have counseled almost every member of my family as well as many of our friends in one way or another.
I am a firm believer in both psychological and life counseling as without the help, support, and guidance of these two individuals I do not believe I would be the fulfilled, successful, and happy young adult I am today.

I live in Poulsbo, Washington a small town located on the Liberty Bay. Poulsbo has their annual Fireworks on the Fjord event that is held on July 3rd. Throughout the day of July 3rd in downtown Poulsbo you can participate in fun family events such as a watermelon eating contest, a seed spitting contest (yes, SEED spitting), ice cream eating contest, carnival rides, and more. They have food and craft booths, live music at the pavilion, clog dancing, and the parade of boats on the bay. At 10:30 pm the firewoks begin and at 11pm they end. Admission and parking to this event is free.
Here is a link to the information and schedule of events to Fireworks on the Fjord:

On the afternoon of the 3rd of July my family visits downtown Poulsbo to participate in the Fireworks on the Fjord event, ride some great carnival rides, eat some great carnival food, and just have fun. In the evening of the 3rd of July, we all gather on the deck of our home to watch the fireworks over Liberty Bay as we have one of the best views of the event.
On the 4th of July we usually have a relaxing day at home watching the neighborhood fireworks.

This is one of the nicest gift stores I have ever been to. It is packed full of beautiful things and is beaming with spirituality. The store is spiritually based but there is something for everyone. There are wonderfully unique gift items you can't find anywhere else. There is jewelry and books, candles and cards, home decor, collectibles and a huge selection of 12 Step Program merchandise. The store's owner Sandi is a remarkable woman and her warmth and positive energy are reflected throughout the store. The prices are very reasonable and the customer service is excellent. I highly recommend this store if you are shopping in Poulsbo on the main drag. If you are not shopping on the main drag in Poulsbo I recommend you make the trip down there to check out this wonderful shop!

As an avid book reader, the Poulsbo Library is one of my favorite places. As well as books, they also offer internet access on their computers. They frequently have story time for children of all ages. My five year old daughter loves to go to the pajama story book hour where children are encouraged to show up in their pajamas for the reading! I do have to say that I wish that their selection of books were a bit larger, but for a relatively small town, this library is pretty good.
