I called to get a "ball park" figure of what price I could be looking at to get my carpets cleaned. When I expressed that I might need to use the heavier cleaning solution, and would like a "ball park" figure of what I'd be spending, the young lady told me that it could be several chemicals used and that it would be 25 cents per square foot. I gave her a square footage number as an example of what I could need cleaned, and asked her could she give me an estimate because I wasn't in front of a calculator to do the math myself (she was on speaker phone while I drove). She copped an attitude. She told me she couldn't do that. She then accused me of wanting an "exact amount', and told me that it's not her job to do the cleaning so she can't tell me that. I expressed that I didn't want to waste their time (your company/cleaners) coming out if it's too pricey. You would think that she would have appreciated my consideration, but I was met with a "stink" attitude. Do you know how much competition you have in surrounding areas? I only asked for one extra step in understanding, and she was so rude. Why is she in customer service with such a short fuse (disposition)? Why isn't she more knowledgeable of how to accommodate a calculation for a potential CUSTOMER. This is how a business thrives. CUSTOMERS give you business. However, you're going to miss a lot of business with her, or anyone else lacking patience and knowledge, taking your calls. She hung up in my face when I decided to share a word to the wise about her attitude, and how she will lose in life with it. And, obviously my observation (a losing attitude produces losing results) is truth because I gave my business to someone else, who was more than accommodating for my SIMPLE question.
I called around 2:50pm on Tuesday, in case you want to check the schedule for your crew.
I NEVER write reviews, however, I didn't want to pass this up. Some training (not firing) in customer relations cld be VERY useful for this young lady. She's losing u business.
