Weekendz Only is a small boutique store on Riverside Dr. in Toluca Lake. I have been a loyal customer for about seven years, and not once have I walked out the store upset. The ladies who work there are extremely polite and helpful, whenever I need a certain look for a special event they will come up with something amazing. They have an amazing selection of jeans, tops, skirts, shorts, dresses, jewelry, handbags, belts, and much much more! There prices range from high-end designers to a $10 top. Usually my favorite day to go in is on Fridays, because the store has a color of the day. Whatever the color is for the day you get a 20% discount plus wine and cheese.
Weekendz Only has been and will always be my number one choice to shop at. It’s a great place to go with friends, sisters, mothers, daughters or anyone that has a feminine taste of style. I assure you that you won’t come out of the store empty handed!

I stumbled across Iliad when I first moved to L.A. four years ago. I've moved from the valley and into Hollywood, but I still go there at least once a week to check out new books. I've yet to find a place that tops it. Aside from the great staff, the prices and selection are truly impressive. If I'm looking for something and they don't have it one week, chances are they will within the next month. Most used trade paperbacks range from $4-$8 in price, and the mass market ones in the back rooms are a couple of bucks. The atmosphere in Iliad is relaxing and inviting, with cats wandering around, endless shelves of books impeccably organized, and couches where you can sit and flip through a potential purchase. There's no better store in L.A.

Toluca Tots is a very small store but has a wide variety of clothes for your little ones. I found cute clothes for my little girl that you will never find at any of the big clothing stores. The prices are a little high but the quality and uniqueness are unsurpassed. This is a great place to buy something for that baby shower you're going to.

I don't know what people are complaining about. I have been to the store many times and have received great customer service. They do get extremely busy but i have patience and i am willing to wait for their services. They have a fabulous inventory and great selection which is why they ARE so busy. I guess you cant satisfy everyone but i am. Keep up the great work girls.

I love Pergolina. The owner is a very interesting woman with great taste. She is also quite friendly. I can always find something here for a Mother's Day gift, or a wedding gift, or something for a child. She has fantastic European gifts (and soaps and stuff too) and she also has really interesting stuff as decoration. I have been shopping here for a long time. The stuff always changes and she always has something new and interesting in the store.
PROS: Wonderful, unique gifts.
CONS: Sometimes at busy times, it's hard to get a parking space on the street.

This bookstore is so full of charm! There are plenty of books so you wander around for an hour or two just browsing. The store always has a good selection and very good prices. I personally think it can't get better than the free books they offer. If you broke then you can go grab a book and try out something new. If nothing else this is a well known bookstore and just take some time to go look so you can say you've been there. You might be surprised at what you'll find.
