We recently moved to Saint Helens, and I was concerned about finding a new dentist (our old dentist is over 25 miles away). By chance, I chose Smile Masters after doing a Google search online.
The Smile Masters website is very useful, allowing first-time patients to submit medical history and other forms online prior to your appointment. What a big time saver and convenience!
The appointment came and went and everyone in the family was pleased with their individual experience(s). Wayde Elliott, DMD and Jeff Grim, DDS were great with the kids and very gentle. They answered all questions thoroughly and explained all the treatment options in detail.
But, uh oh, my youngest had 3 cavities. She's only 7 so I was concerned about how she would take getting a shot and the inevitable drilling. She went to her appointment, and to my surprise she said she didn't feel a thing!
Smile Masters offers many pleasant distractions while at your appointment. The kids enjoyed playing GameBoys and all three watched movies during the exam.
I'm thinking no more whining when it comes time for the next appointment! :-)

Excellent service that will accept any insurance. They have many different frames to choice from and have services that include contacts and laser surgery. Don't expect to see the same doctor twice because there are about three different doctors there. Great service and wonderful staff. A lot of information for you.

My son has been going to Conway for just about 2 years now. Dr Conway is very patient and uderstanding with the kids. He even met with me while i was pregnant & found out my son would have a birth defect. I tried to meet with another pediatrition but he wouldn't see me until after my son was born. So Conway scored major points with me there.
Everytime we need to see him for something he always checks everything out throughly.
I recommend him to all of my friends.

I should preface this review with the fact that I do not think very highly of doctors in general and it takes quite a bit to earn my trust. On top of that I am a fairly overprotective parent, so you can just imagine the hoops Dr. Jones has had to jump through over the years, just to earn my respect and trust.
Over the years we have been on and off of the Oregon Health Plan as our careers have changed and we have dealt with different doctors in the Rogue Valley and compared how they have treated OHP patients versus say people who have better Blue Cross insurance and I have to say that Dr. Jones and his nurses and office staff have always treated us with nothing more than respect and kindness, irregardless of what insurance we had at the time.
On top of all of that he (and they) are absolutely, wholeheartedly wonderful to my kids. He is a very gentle person, gets down to their level and answers any and all questions I have. He is my absolute favorite doctor in the Valley and I would send anyone to him without a second thought.

Southern Oregon Pediatrics is a great office. From the nice waiting room to the examination rooms, this office is nice.
The doctors are amazing especially Dr. Sibley. She is so knowledgeable and very tuned into what you are saying.
The office itself keeps excellent hours:
M-F 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m
Saturday 9a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday 12 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
You can get in when you need to get in, whether you are accommodating your work schedule or an earache on Sunday.

Dr. Alan Binette, MD was my OB/Gyn for the birth of my son. At the time I was considered a high risk pregnancy and referred to Dr. Binette. From the time I entered his office I felt I was in good hands.. His office and exam rooms are pleasantly decorated. His reception area has magazines, books, etc. to read while waiting. His staff is very helpful with appointments and insurance questions. All my appointments were very informative. He first walked into the office wearing his notorious bow tie and smile going over any questions I may have and my expectations. He and his staff reviewed all procedures and recommended diet, and explained everything in detail. I felt like I was in good hands from my first visit....and now he continues to be my primary care physician. I would recommend Dr. Binette for your OB/Gyn and primary care physician needs.

I have been bounced from doctor to doctor for five years with depression. Even the psychiatrists just hand out pills that make you feel worse without ever doing a proper physical.
These folks at SOH&W really check you out. They found that I had very low testosterone and low T4.
I'm starting the testosterone therapy today, but I am confident this will help resolve my depression.
Please note: I was charged a simple $10 co-pay to visit the clinic, however their lab is elsewhere and was not certified by AETNA, requiring me to pay 50% of the lab bill, or $178. So please check this out first if money is tight.
This is just a great place to start. The people are knowledgeable and friendly and truly want to help.

Always under staff. Nurses are overwhelmed. Patients don't get the care they deserve and are treated roughly. They do have a good rehabilitation program, but the residents that are there don't get the right care. Also very smelly and dirty, needs to be fully sanitized. If your elderly needs a home this is not the place to put them.
