I recently bought my 16 year old daughter a low mileage, 10 year old Honda Accord. The Honda turned out to have some serious transmission issues that needed to be repaired or I would be facing transmission failure.
I learned of Snider Transmission from one of the service writers at Clear Lake Honda who told me that he'd heard "good things about Snider's work".
I spoke to Matt Snider and he invited me to bring him the car and they would have a look at it. Andy called me after they had completed the analysis to give me an estimate. Repairing an automobile is never fun, but my daughter's car now has a reliable and smooth-shifting transmission and I have the peace of mind that she won't be stranded on the road.

I've noticed a lot of negative reviews of Mercedes-Benz dealerships in town, especially when it comes to service. So I wanted to share my positive experience with Alex Rodriguez Mercedes-Benz in hopes that it will give all of you some hope that good dealerships still exist!
After years of disappointing service at several dealerships around town, I found Arod Mercedes online and scheduled my first service appointment. Within one hour they had me scheduled to pick up my car, service it and return it to me without putting on a single mile! It is the most convenient, efficient and professional service experience I've had.
Since then, both my husband and I (and all of our MB owner friends) are wondering why we put up with bad service for so long - and we'll never go back to another dealership. I would recommend Alex Rodriguez Mercedes-Benz to anyone!
Pros: awesome service, fair pricing, extremely friendly staff, great selection, very flexible on trade-ins
Cons: kind of a drive, but worth it!

As other reviewers have said, I called the dealership in regards to a couple of cars I saw online and was told by the Internet Manager that they were both there. When I arrived, they were no where to be seen and they said they must have been sold. Then they proceeded to convince me that the manual shift sedan version of the car I had been looking at was comparable (I explicitly said I wanted an automatic hatchback and that I would not purchase a manual or a sedan).
I test drove a couple of cars and found one I absolutely loved, much to my dismay, because after being at this dealership 20 minutes I realized this place was crawling with stereotypical hotshot car salesmen who repeatedly told how they'd been cutting good prices all day.
They told me they wanted to help me and that making their customers happy was their top priority and yet they refused to budge or even consider negotiating without some sort of commitment (either by check or by this weird handwritten pre-commitment they wrote on the back of one of my forms after we'd sat there a while). It took them over an hour and a half to appraise my trade in and once they were finished it was almost impossible to get the key back. We ended up leaving after sitting around for 3 hours and hearing stories about how one manager "worked 3 jobs and slept 4 hours a night to get a car he loved when he was 16..."
As soon as I left the dealership they called my house and asked to speak to my dad because I'd told them I had to talk to him before I did anything -- rude. I was the sole buyer of this car.
Gabe called the next morning and we gave him our price again and he said okay meet us in an hour. We waited around for 30 minutes once we got there for Gabe (by the way, avoid this little man at all costs) to meet us, though he knew we were coming. When he did he didn't even have our paperwork ready though he said he'd been working on it all morning. He came in and told us we had to buy a $500 service package to take care of us -- I told him I didn't want it but he said there wasn't an option they "give" it to everyone.
We left again with fairly reasonable terms but were uncomfortable with the high pressure situation. Gabe called us later and said they could meet us in the middle so we went back (I REALLY liked this car) and expected to speak with him. We ended up "working with" with another salesman, who was our liaison with Gabe, and signed the paperwork (Gabe never said a word to us on this third trip there). I was told I was on a special student discount plan to where my interest rate would be very low and the payments were within the range I told them.
We sat around for 3 1/2 hours waiting for the finance guy to call us in and when he did our payments were $40 a month higher, the term was a year longer, and my interest rate was 1.5% higher than I had been told. He's said, "that's what the salesman said he told you," -- he did not.
After bargaining another 30 minutes I got my payments down to where I wanted them. We were told we had to wait to tell our salesman we were leaving, which took another 10 minutes.
I love the car I ended up getting, but all the hassle was (almost) not worth it. Avoid this dealership at all costs -- they will straight up lie to you and keep you waiting for hours on end, literally.
Pros: Salesman offered to buy us cokes with own money.
Cons: Everything else besides the cokes.

i have a car that is 18 months old, it has been in the shop every month for a week since i drove it off the lot. they have replaced one electrical feature after another. the abundant amount of hours i have sat in the small waiting room over crowded with people will never be regained. it has truly been one of the worst customer service experiences i have ever had. i regret ever having walked through the doors of Advantage much less writing the lease check every month. the attitude of Advantage is just keep bringing it back till we get it right, who has the time? my suggestion DRIVE THE OTHER DIRECTION!
Pros: its easy to get to for all the repairs you will need

We went here for some warranty work and made sure to call before to get the details. We were told to come in and it would all be taken care of. We drive up there and when we get there are told that we are going to have to pay $40 out of our pocket to have them look at it. We weren't told this before hand when we asked. I gave the guy our paperwork, numbers and everything and he said he couldn't look it up, that I'd have to call toyota and the dealership I bought it from myself and find out how my warranty worked. I told him I could give him the number for the dealership, but no, he said I would have to do that. They weren't helpful at all and pretty much just told me to come back when I figured it out. I was SO upset because we had worked it out with my husband's work to take it that day and weren't sure when we could do that again all do to them misinforming us when we called the first time. I will never take my vehicle here again. I didn't give them one star only because we didn't have our vehicle fixed, but the customer service was ridiculous.
