Korst is a contactor who does wonderful work with cabinets. He offered a reasonable price and did a great job -- they look fantastic.
However, we literally had to hunt him down, find him, and make him finish our caibnets! After a few weeks he just kept procrastinating finishing up.
When he finally did, though, they look great. If you don't want a hassle, you might be able to find someone better.

If you need to mail something in west Joliet and don't want to fight the traffic all the way to the Post Office on the south side of town, visit the Mailboxes and Parcel Depot (at the corner of Essington and Caton Farm Roads - Crystal Square Plaza - in west Joliet). You can mail items there through the U.S. Postal Service, UPS and FedEx. They also sell stamps, boxes and packing/shipping supplies, maintain private mailboxes, offer copying, faxing, and notary services. The best feature about this business is their willingness to help you determine the best method of shipping something - they will compare the cost of different methods of shipping to help you figure out the cheapest and quickest way of getting packages from here to there. Great customer service, friendly, helpful staff and Saturday and Sunday hours.

If you're looking for automotive repair at a fair price, stop by Henry Ales Automotive on Essington Road (at the corner of Essington and Fiday). They specialize in brakes, transmissions, alignments and suspensions - they also sell tires. Family owned and operated, they will diagnose your car problem and quote you a fair price for repair - I truly had the feeling I was not getting ripped off, and that's important to a woman who is responsible for her own car maintenance. I recently went there to have them look at my tires because I thought I needed new ones. They inspected them and told me I had another 10-20,000 miles on them - they could have sold me a new set on the spot. Guess where I went when I WAS ready to buy new tires? I also had them put on new brakes, and their prices are some of the most reasonable in town. They also have an oil change place right next door. Great service at a fair price!

This store is new to our area but has been needed for sometime. We were in need of speciality household items and the store was loaded with choices. They had many name and off brands with hugh selections of colors. They also offer seasonal items that caught the attention of my girls. The sales people were helpful and even went in the back to find me an item that wasn't out.
