I was recently referred to this imaging center by my physician and was pleasently surprised with the level of service i recieved. the mri tech was very patient with me as I am a little uncomfortable beiing in an enclosed space. He went the extra mile to ensure that i had a pleasent experience, which iI did. Then to top it off, the Radiologist stopped what he was doing to speak with me about my symptoms. That is very rare these days for a Doctor to chat with you about your symtoms and options. I would definately recommend this facility to anyone who is fed up with the usuall assembly line treatment at most larger institutions.
Pros: very convenient, friendly, high quality exam.
Cons: that I had not been there sooner.

I have been going to Pacifica for different sports injuries over the last several years and have to say that they are truly the best around. Drs. Wakim, Bakman and Dean are extremely knowledgable, compassionate and caring about their patients. I have reccommended family and friends to this office and will continue to for many years to come.

My family and I go to Coast Optometric, and in particular Dr. Paul Blaze. Dr. Blaze is at the forefront of his field, and has improved the quality of our eye care.
I have a lot of issues going on with my eyes, and instead of using a blanket treatment, or recommending laser, which is what I wanted, Dr. Blaze offered alternatives to me and made me understand that laser is not always the best alternative. My daughter, husband, and son all are under Dr. Blaze's care as well, and the quality of their diagnoses and prescriptions have improved because of it.

I love Dr. Hardy. I wear contacts, and we talk about the benefits of that vs lasik surgery. He's had lasik, but doesn't pressure me to have it.
He cares for each patient individually, and is pretty darned funny. His staff is wonderful, and you have a wide selection of eyeglasses to choose from.
He was also the first guy who mentioned that my (other) contacts were probably uncomfortable because I have a slight astigmatism, so he suggested different ones and they solved the problem!
PROS: Great, take all insurance

Pet vet is a very busy clinic and you better be prepared to wait a while (even if you have an appt). As a pet owner and an ex-vet technician, I must say Dr. Naito is one of the best and competent doctors I've ever been to. I have a 12 year old pug who was misdiagnosed with arthiritis and when I went to Dr. Naito for 2nd opinion, she immediately noticed from the way my dog was limping that it wasn't in the joints. She took some x-rays and discovered that my dog had a collapsed disc. I immediately stopped giving her the rimadyl that the other office gave me and started her on supplements for her disc. The hospital visit turned out to cost half of what the other office charged me too. I agree that Dr. Naito doesn't make small talk and her staff usually doesn't have time to comment on how cute your dog is, but I feel good knowing that there's a hospital that cares about providing excellent clinical care and doesn't care about trying to kiss the owner's ass.

I first saw Dr. Tsai when she examined me before I had my Lasik eye surgery at TLC. When I needed follow-up care, I decided to see her at her office in Huntington Beach. She and her husband, also an optometrist, run everything from the front desk to fitting glasses so they are very hands on. They have a great selection of frames also. When I referred a friend to them , they even sent me a gift certificat to a coffee shop in the minimall that they are located in!

As far as x-ray labs go, this one is very good. My daughter had to have dental x-rays taken prior to getting braces. They were very professional and their scheduling superb. We were in and out in a very timely manner.

This little office is so good with people. Sandy the receptionist/cashier/do it all girl is so great. Some of their frames are a little expensive but, so are every body else's.They do it all and are great at doing it.
