Nifty Fifty's in Holmes, PA is blast from the past. You think you are stepping back in time to the 50's. It is one of those cool diner-esque burger, fries and milkshake places. The burgers are small, but so tasty. And you rarely have a milkshake like this anywhere- they are so rich and creamy. If you are on a diet, you might want to pass up on Nifty Fifty's!

I have lived in this area my entire life but never ordered anything from this shop until about a year ago. Oh my Lord! Where have I been all these years? To all the people that keep writing in reviews saying these sandwiches are so, so and complained about the wait...their sandwiches are EXCELLENT! And if I go to a shop and have to wait for an order because it is so busy, that tells me only one thing. They don't have a large enough staff to accommodate the hundreds of people they get in there everyday wanting their awesome sandwiches. If you are going to go to a popular sandwich shop, you can't expect to walk in and walk right out. Sorry! Have you ever heard of a shop with such great food that they never have any customers? I don't think so. If you are going to complain about the wait then use your common sense and call in the order ahead of time. Then you won't have to worry about waiting for your order when you get there!

This restaurant has been in business for over 20 year. This is a small cozy restaurant that features a bar area too. The food is tasty especially the cheesesteaks. Children's menu is available and the service is friendly. Plenty of parking and take is available too.

Great find. Small, intimate, friendly local restaurant. About a mile off Exit 1 of blue Rt. in Milmont Park. (Ridley) Good gravy (sauce). Nightly specials. Good prices. We typically spend ABOUT $20 ea. for dinner and a drink or two (or three)
Our personal favorites are eggplant parm and their buffalo chix fingers.
Sit at the bar and let Joe the Bartender serve you great mixed drinks, cold beer and great food. The closest thing to South Philly Italian in the area.
I would give it 5 stars, but it isn't the Taj Mahal - Just a great place.

We started going here for the pizza and then found out about the vegetarian selections. Wow! If you're vegetarian, or like to skip the meat every once and a while, this is the place to go. We've tried just about all of the selections and have been happy with every one of them. We love this place!

Mike & Emma's is a great place to get a sandwich. Their hoagies & cheesesteaks are so good & they use good meat, cheese & rolls. I especially love their fried peppers. Try a pepper & egg with cheese on a hoagie roll. MMMMMM Also I love their tuna. It is Cento Brand in oil. Delicious! This business is family owned & they will be happy to see you. I have been going there many years!

This is the worst arby's I have ever been in. It was on a sunday recently, and there was nothing on the roll but the roast beef, and there was no arby's sauce available. This was in a bad neighborhood, to start with, on the main road. And I didn't trust the girl behind the counter. I have never before, had to worry whether something was in my food or not, such as drugs. I was very nervous and i suddenly was alittle hesatate to eat it. They didn't have much to offer, and it was early evening. Like they didn't want to be bothered. Aparently it was alright, but the cashier didn't look like she could be trusted or like she could be bothered.
PROS: they had a new orange shake that my husband liked.
CONS: Worst arby's I have ever eaten in.
