The Blockbuster in Elkton, MD is a very busy video rental store. I have gone there many times to rent a movie and almost always walk out with my first choice movie. The few times that my first choice movie was not available, I was definitely able to get my second choice.
In addition to movie rentals, I have found that Blockbuster also has some great movies for sale. I have purchased some great movies from Blockbuster at some awesome prices.
Blockbuster also has everything that you need to watch a movie from candy to popcorn and drinks. For great gifts, you can purchase gift cards for friends and family and share the joy of movies with them too!

Walmart is an okay store. Now that it is a Super Center there are positives and negatives.
First the positives:
1. You can get almost anything! From tires to groceries, Walmart has it!
2. One stop shopping
3. Price is usually good
Now the negatives:
1. A lot of walking from one side of the store to the other
2. Quality of products is not always the best.
3. They don't always have everything in stock when you need it.
4. It is almost always crowded.
5. The lines at check out are often long and very often quite slow.
So, there you have it! I will shop at Walmart but I often choose somewhere else to go to.

I think dollar stores are ok if you don't buy alot of junk--i know people that go in and spend $40-or more!!! Some of their greeting cards are priced great, but most every thing is a lower grade of merchandise!!! Its ok for cheap kitchen containers, wraping paper, odds & ends, etc!! I did purchase some fun items for wedding shower game prizes! I just purchased 6 long shoe horns for stocking stuffers---maybe I just have to get into it!!!!!!!!

I'm an incredibly thrifty person. I get excited when I find great deals and very cheap items. I love coming to Goodwill because I always find great items at a cheap price. I don't mind the fact that they have been used before, besides you can barely tell on most items. I love buying here a lot!

If you are looking for shoes for any occassion but simply don't want to be ripped off come to Payless. Payless always offers stylish shoes at cheap prices. This is especially convenient if you have kids, since they grow so quickly they outlive their shoes. But its also great for anyone else who needs shoes, but doesn't wnat to pay department store prices.

I went to the eye doctor here only one time. I didn't go back because I felt that their optical center was both pushy and not helpful. When I went to pick out glasses, they did not advise me in the way other places have. I wasn't sure what I liked or what would be best for the prescription I was getting but they didn't help me. The person just wanted me to make a selection. When I asked if I could get my prescription to take it elsewhere, they told me I'd have to come back another time because they had to get it from the doctor who was too busy at that time.
The doctor herself (I can't remember her name) was good when I saw her. She was thorough and friendly.

Kmart is an okay place to shop for some things like cosmetics and medicines and school supplies. I tend not to buy their clothing because their kids sizes run pretty small and don't last too long. Sometiems, however, they have a big clearance and you can get clothes there really cheap and then it is worth it. I mean, if I buy a sweatshirt that only lasts a season but it was only $1 then it is okay. I would hate to pay the regular price of $15 for the same sweatshirt though. If you go towards the end of the season, you can usually catch one of these clearance specials. They have a pharmacy department and a seasonal department with lots of plants in the summer and winter/Christmas-y stuff in the winter. They also have a photo developing place there which does a nice job, usually. Oh, they took out their cafe so don't expect to get a snack there anymore! Oh well.

Rite Aid in the Big Elk Mall in Elkton is an okay place to shop. I don't go in there very often because anythng I can get there, I can usually get at the Acme, right next door and then I can do other shopping as well. Every once in a while, such as yesterday, I go into Rite Aid. I found that it was not well stocked and there was no one available to assist me when I was looking for a specific product. In the end, I did find the product I was looking for (a contact lens cleaner) that I could not find at the Acme so I was pleased about that. Not a store I would go into most of the time but every once in a while, it proves worthwhile.

this store is my favorite place to shop. my mother in law the one took me there 6 years ago, I love when they have sale for red dot, sometime I got many clothes for cheap and the quality is good, unlike walmart or kmart. they sell good brand and name brand.

This jeweler has been a county institution for generations. They are very small, but offer quite a nice assortment of fine jewelry. Their prices are higher than warehouse stores, but you get more personalized service. Only problem has been in jewelry repair, they miss sized two separate rings, two different times, and still charged for the repairs. All in all, still very good.
PROS: Personalized service
CONS: Expensive
