They were about to close and they held the store open and special ordered sofas for me. They were reasonable,didnt rush me to leave or put any undo pressure on me to buy. They even offered to pick my old sofas and donate them to a womans shelter in town if I would like. Which I was planning to do but they offered to carry them to the safehouse for me. They are definitely a 5 star establishment!!

But I happen to know Curtis???? And he is FAR from rude!!! In his defense, some of us have a bad day at some point, we all do, actually. As it is, my shopping experience there has been great! So far so good!!!
But I also say that since his name was mentioned I will definitely say to anyone who reads this review? Ask for him if you need help at Office Max. Give him a chance. He's a good person!!

Apparently, I don't know how to work my AC, because I could have sworn that I turned it up a little when I left for vacation over the summer. But, I got home and there it was. Mold. All over the carpets and even in some of my bedding. Immediately, I got rid of the bedding and called this company. They came in, ripped out the moldy carpet, and extracted the mold that was growing on the walls and disinfected everything. I can sleep easy (literally) knowing that the mold is completely gone, and that's worth more to me than anything.

I was so pleased when I moved to the Elizabeth City area, and found that there was a Hop In. This particular location, however, has many friendly folks working there. I found them to be courteous and polite and very helpful. The prices are alot better than other gas stations/convenience stores in the area. All that together makes for a pleasant environment indeed.

ABC Seamless siding & Gutters is a great company. They fixed our gutters, and did a great job. Their staff are very friendly and helpful. When we had some storm damage to the house, they came out fast and did the repairs. They are very reasonable in price also. I would have to recommend them for all of your gutter and siding needs.

Kenyon Bailey is my very favorite garden center! Even though their prices are higher, the selection and variety of plants is the largest around. They also sell fertilizers, seed, garden accessories, etc. The shop is full of gift ideas for any/everyone. Kenyon Bailey sells goldfish for your pond and have a beautiful goldfish/koi pond out front. The Wildflower Cafe is adjacent & a great place to get lunch!

I have not been very pleased with the service here. The salesman rushes around trying too hard to get you to buy, buy, buy! They don't actually listen to what you are saying and take time to really help. I went in recently to buy a simple twin size mattress and was quoted one low price on the phone. When I got there, the salesman actually said the other salesman "just claimed that price" to get me in there. I don't think this is a very honest way to run a business, so I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
