Dr. Kvitko & Associates

I am writing to recommend Dr. Kvitko's office. I have had positive experiences during my appointments. The office is clean and rarely do I wait over five minutes for my appointment. The dental assistants are conversational and have made me feel comfortable. The technology used is remarkable and the dental team is caring and seeing to my needs before, during, and after treatment. I appreciate the considerations that are always given during my appointment. more

Dr.Kvtiko is an A+ dental provider. I have never been disappointed with his dental care and I have been a patient of his for over 20 years. He communicates very well on what he plans to do when you are in his dental chair. He cares enough to explain everything and then tells you his next step. He is very concerned to make sure you do not have pain while he is working on you. I also work in the health care field and have met alot of doctors and dentists in my career. I am telling you this dentist is wonderful and very competent in his dental work. I have referred several people to that office and they have never complained about his dental care. more

A little back story to put this in perspective: 1. I have a great deal of apprehension when it comes to dentists. 2. I hadn't been to a dentist in over 10 years 3. I am a cancer patient 4. I had to have certain dental work to begin a new cancer medication 5. I had been advised by another dentist will in the hospital to have several teeth removed 6. There were time constraints involved My interaction with Dr. Kvitko's office/staff began approximately 2/14/2012 or so, after receiving a referral from an outside source. I explained my situation to Kellie, the young lady that answered the phone. She was very considerate and attentive, allowing me to explain my situation without interruption. She advised that there were no immediate appointments available but she would contact me as soon as one came open, Let me say that I was less than optimistic that I would her from Kellie in time. I had even begun looking for another dentist. Lo, to my surprise, I received a call from Kellie on the 16th of February asking mind you, not telling, me if I was available for an appointment on 2/21/2012. Needless to say, I took it. I arrived on the 21st 15 to 20 mins ahead of my scheduled appointment time. I was instructed to fill out paper work, which I did. I waited no more than 15 minutes after completing the paperwork to be escorted into a treatment room. I was prepared for xrays which were taken. The xray process took 20, 25 minutes. At all points in the process, I was told what was being done. After the xrays were processed, I waited maybe 10 minutes at which point I was joined by Dr. Kvitko & Alecia, his assistant. Remeber, I had been advised to have SEVERAL teeth removed. I spent 45 minutes just in consultation with Dr. Kvitko to discuss my options. I told him about the other dentist's plan. Dr. Kvitko told that there is no reason that I had to have that done. He suggested extraction of a wisdom tooth, a broken tooth and a misshapen tooth, all towards the rear of my mouth. This could be done as long as would brush & floss better and have semi-annual dental check-ups. I had no problem. I told him about my apprehension about dentists and pain. He reassured me. Long story short, Dr. Kvitko performed the work, Yes, there was pain, but he managed it extremely well so that it was tolerable. Never once did he leave my side. Never once did he fail to explain anything to me. Never once did he try to advance any type of agenda. Dr. Kvitko was and is a professional. He was kind, patient and most of all considerate. Not just Dr. Kvitko, but his entire staff. I wish I could remember everyone's name and I apologize to those I fail to mention, but thank you Dr. Kvitko, Kellie, Alecia, Tony, Carrie and EVERYONE there. I found Dr. Kvitko and staff friendly, courteous and timely during my 1st visit. I was at the dentists' office for a cleaning. This took around 3 hours with Dr. Kvitko leaving in the middle of my appointment to take care of some business dealings with Ted Williams; however, one of the other dentists took his time to clean my teeth. I didn't expect to be in a dental chair for 3 hours for a cleaning. Dr. Kvitko seemed more interested in his ""Smile Bright"" program. I would love to have a perfect smile but cannot afford the $28,000 I was quoted to accomplish that. The $28,000 also included some other procedures such as filing a cavity, doing a root canal with crown; however, the majority of the cost was to have a perfect smile. Not to mention that Dr. Kvitko seemed much more interested in his ""Smile Bright"" program instead of care & concern for the health of my teeth, gums, etc. On my 2nd visit, the office was running late, staff not quite as friendly or courteous, and when I mentioned that I had a schedule to keep as well, I was told that just because I was in a ""hurry,"" it wasn't their concern that I also had a professional schedule to keep. Again, during the consultation, much more attention was paid to the ""Smile Bright"" program instead of what was going on inside my mouth. Long story short - hold onto your wallet . . . this dentists' office seems more interested in seperating you from your hard-earned money than taking care of the practice of dentistry. I had my two front teeth knocked out in a car accident when I was eight. Because my Mom couldn't afford dental care, I spent the next ten years trying not to smile. I became very introverted. I really didn't like myself. Then, for my 18th birthday, right before my senior pictures, my Mom took me to Dr. Kvitko. He placed a couple of implants to replace my two front teeth. After they healed to the bone, he put caps on the two implants and on my other two front teeth. They look great!! I now smile all of the time. I can't thank him enough. What I thought was neat is that Dr. Kvitko did all of the work himself. He didn't even have to send me to an oral surgeon. I liked not having to go to a buch of different offices just to get my teeth fixed. I highly recommend Dr. Kvitko and his office. S.L. more

When I searched for an office in the Columbus area, Dr. Kvitko's office caught my attention because they advertised that they have a very caring environment. During my first appointment I understood what the advertisement meant by a caring environment. The office did not remind me of a typical doctor's office, because the atmosphere was very relaxing. The entire staff was not only friendly, but each of the staff members asked me questions about my preferences based on comfort. I was also incredibly surprised to have two personal T.Vs to entertain me throughout my cleaning. When I met Dr. Kvitko he was very attentive, and he was the first Doctor that ever asked me several questions which kept my mind free of worry. Every appointment that I have attended throughout the last four years has been consistently pleasing. more

Recently I went to one of those corporate dental offices to have my teeth out and dentures made. It took the dentist five hours to extract my teeth. I was in agony. Then, on top of that, my denures didn't fit and they hurt so much, I couldn't wear them. I waited about 10 days hoping my mouth would heal but it didn't. Instead, all of these pieces of teeth and bone kept coming out of my gums. The pain continued. Then my son-in-law brought me to Dr. Kvitko. He numbed me up and carefully removed all of the sharp edges of bone and stitched me up. I had almost instant relief. Now my mouth feels good and I am healing nicely. He is a great dentist. dhm more

I first saw Dr. Kvitko about three years ago for an assessment. I was in need of a lot of dental care and wanted a smile makeover. I had seen Dr. Kvitko's work and was impressed. Unfortunately, my husband was concerned about the cost and urged me to go to a cheaper dentist closer to our home. That turned out to be a mistake and after a 3 yr debacle of problem after problem, I returned to Dr. Kvitko and asked him to solve my dental pain. He quickly discovered what the other dentist had missed and, for the 1st time in 3 yrs I am pain free! I am feeling SO much better and I'm anxious to get started on the smile makeover portion of my care. I am sure I will be amazed and forever grateful when he finishes with my teeth. I think Dr. Kvitko is a true testimonial to his profession. Finally.... I found the right dentist! :) I spent thousands of dollars at the cheaper dentist and all they did was mess up my mouth. I now know that if I had stayed with Dr. Kvitko from the start, I would have been money ahead, been pain free sooner, and had the smile of my dreams 3 yrs ago. TJB more

In my personal situation, it is my opinion that, Dr. Kvitko DID NOT live up to any of his important promises that he boldly makes in his advertisements to the general public, nor did he live up to the important promise that he personally made directly to me. In my personal situation, Dr. Kvitko did not live up to any of his promises concerning comfort, or relaxation, or compassion, or respect, or care, or catering to my immediate needs, as well as the promise of providing a gentle and pain-free experience. Dr. Kvitko DID NOT cater to my immediate need, in a timely, concerned, or caring manner, of immediately treating my one particular ""Hot Tooth"", that I REPEATEDLY informed Dr. Kvitko and his staff, that the pain was excruciating and unbearable. Please know that when I ultimately hand delivered a letter to Dr. Kvitko, outlining my personal discontent and dissatisfaction with my personal experience with him, Dr Kvitko's bold promises of extending compassion, care, and RESPECT, will not be honored. It seems that Dr. Kvitko will not personally address any patient dissatisfaction or complaints. At least that is my experience. Dr. Kvitko, personally, just blew me off. Also, it is my opinion that, although Dr. Kvitko's patient charges seem to be at the extreme high-end of the dental charges scale... (over $3,000)... Do not expect comfort, compassion, care, or respect from Dr. Kvitko. After submitting 2 separate letters directly to Dr. Kvitko, Dr. Kvitko did not have the decency or RESPECT to personally discuss them with me. I had pretty poor dental care as a kid, and have had some real horror stories with pediatric dentists...It seems like some just don't want to believe that not everyone is sufficiently numbed with local anesthetics, and kids are capable of telling the difference between "a little bit of pressure," and genuine pain. I started seeing a lot of ads for sedative dentistry alternatives, but most ads seem to forgo talking about the competence of their staff and focus on the sedation aspect. Having a parent who suffered a coma as a child due to an adverse reaction to nitrous oxide, I'm reasonably wary of inexperienced dentists who practice with sedation.\r \r The radio/TV ads for Kvitko's office seemed a little too good to be true. Their office looked comfortable, the staff seemed friendly, and the promise that pain-free dentistry could be delivered by experienced staff without having to fear compromising my care was music to my ears. I heard a lot about Dr. Kvitko and his office before making my appointment. Honestly, I had heard so many positive things, I figured he could never live up to expectations. I was wrong. He exceeded them! Dr. Kvitko and his staff are very kind and considerate. They explained everything to me in terms I could understand. I can tell that Dr. Kvitko is a perfectionist who truly cares about his patients. I highly recommend this office more
