I used to go to a huge conglomeration of Eye Dr.s in a big building, where I had to book way in advance and then waited forever once I did arrive for my appointment. I never knew it could be any better, until I heard about these guys. Champion Eye Center is made up by two Dr.s Champion, it's a husband and wife team- and they are excellent. I have been fit in immediately each time I've called. They are nice, and funny, and very kind. And they have a surprisingly wide selection of frames for such a small operation. I have never had a bad experience here.

I have used this practice for both of my pregnancies. I LOVE the 2 male doctors that work there and I highly recommend them. The gals that work the front desk are easy going and always seem to be happy while working. I enjoy going there for routine appointments.

This is a locally-owned small pharmacy with the nicest folks. They know you by your first name! Always accommodating, friendly and very knowledgeable about pharmaceutical issues. This is truly service the old fashioned way - not a big chain with faceless, nameless people filling your prescriptions. They are wonderful and I heartily recommend them.

it is also a good resource for medical equipment, beauty products, and alternative-health information and supplies.
They have a 5,000 square-foot showroom where visitors can try out many new products and get free samples of creams and lotions.

First off, I am an RN and I am pretty hard to please completely when it comes to my/my families care. I look long & hard to find providers that I really believe in. Dr. Chesick is one of those long sought out, rare finds. I have been to several audiologists since I was diagnosed with my hearing loss. Dr. Chesick is careful and thorough. She is also the smartest Audiologist I have ever been to. I have a complicated problem with needing to hear things in a specific way as a musician. Other audiologists just told me that I was stuck with the way things were with the standard aides/settings. Dr. Chesick worked hard to get the right aids and the carefully tweaked the proper programming so I could hear as well as possible. She pointed out things that could help me and also helped me get screens for my daughters, aged 2 and 10, in her office w/o my having to hassle w/the insurance company. She did that for me. She squeezed me into see the ENT when she thought he ought to look at something the same time as my Audio appt. She even gives out her organic produce from her garden at home. She is friendly and delightful to work with. I highly recommend her!

Two years ago, I went to Hope because I was having a couple of different issues and because I had a previous history with these same issues, I asked around for the best Asheville had to offer. Having recently moved here from the North, I hadn't really given much thought to medical records from my past. However, the staff at Hope made everything SO EASY for me to get all the needed hospital and doctor's records so that Dr. Hetzel would know exactly what he was stepping into. In addition, when it was discovered that my insurance would probably not be willing to pay these bills because Hope wasn't in their network, the medical benefits staff took care of everything so I would have the smallest possible co-pay for services - and - worked on an affordable payment plan for me. They patiently waited for whatever payment the insurance company would eventually pay, despite being out of network.
Dr. Hetzel is very gentle and easy to talk to. He made me comfortable and relaxed very quickly into our first visit together. After several tests and visits later, I was lucky to discover that everything was fine and I would only have to do a yearly follow-up.
The entire staff is friendly and efficient and they even offer coffee, hot cocoa and assorted teas while you wait! There is also an actual library of information and helpful cancer patient services should you need them.
Oh - and I love their huge fishtank as well as the relaxing and original, creative decor.
I am happy to recommend Dr. Hetzel and the Hope staff for all your oncology needs!

My children and I have been going to Hygeia Family Medicine for more than 4 years. They are always kind and considerate. They move generally on time. They make appointments quickly. The facility is always clean and well-kept. They accept Medicaid and are tolerant of non-vaccinated children. This is a great choice.

I hurt my back on my job a few years back and was sent to Pro Med for treatment. I have never met a nicer bunch of people in my life. Everyone from the receptionist to the Drs. were just great. The nurses and the Drs. were wonderful, passionate and very caring. If all the Drs. and their staff were this nice we would have a great medical field in Buncombe and the surrounding counties. These people are top of the line. THE BEST!
