I like a straight forward, yet friendly, approach to car buying. I called ahead and spoke to the Wilde Toyota new car manager Max and we settled upon a price before I arrived at the dealer. Wow! – that was nice.
Then I called the competition and gave them the same opportunity – the other dealers wanted me to come in – I did not want to do that – I hate the back and forth negotiations. Just give me a price – and that is what Max at Wilde did. I finally got numbers from other dealers – or estimates – and they were higher than Wilde.
When I arrived at the Wilde dealership I was met by David Hensley. He was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and did everything for us from paper work to removing stuff from our old car that we forgot to transferring our plates to the new car.
We leased a new Camry LE at a great price. Our experience was so good we went back a week later and bought another one.
In Wisconsin, the DMV is tough on dealers so there is a fair amount of paperwork. The finance team did a great job of getting us in and out as soon as possible.
