Large, nicely landscaped campus, with great student union (Rhatigan Student Center) and art museum (Ulrich Museum of Art).
I was impressed with WSU's criminal justice program. These classes are taught by a good mix of academic professors and people with first hand experience in the field. It's the perfect combo when studying a field like this.
I graduated from WSU a couple years ago, and I feel like I received a quality education for good value. As a Kansas resident, the in-state tuition for me was affordable.
Enrolling can be a bit of a headache, as there are so many students at this school. You can save time and hassle by enrolling at one of the smaller WSU satellite campuses around town. Call ahead first, to make sure they can accomodate you, but I was always happier when I did this as opposed to enrolling on the main campus.
