To people looking for boarding in the Jacksonville area .. read this before you choose ... there is a barn on the westside of Jacksonville i would NOT recommend. The owner of the barn is not a professional business person by far. The owner of this barn says he goes out the way for his animals and so forth and so on. The owner allows things to go on this property that is way far from professional allowing drugs to be smoke and allowing druggies to come on to his property to do this that and the third. the owner will tell you one thing than says that was not said.. The things that has been done at this barn I would not send my dog there to be cared for.. This barn i have been told has a lot of things to be done to the barn and property and that the stalls are not safe. when going out to this barn I have seen horses ribs and did not look good at all. This barn is not a place that stills needs to be boarding to anyone.. i think people go there cause of what the owner is charging to board. Now I know some people can not afford a grade A place, but if you really care for your animal please do not let your horse go to this stables. The owner says that there is no drama there but from what I was told there is a lot going on, and the person the owner has tending to the horses knows nothing about horses by far. why hire someone who does not know nothing about tending or caring for horses........ what kind of person in there right mind as a employer does that. How do you know if these horses are being tend to right way what if something goes wrong and the owner is not there and what not. come on. when I went there the place was horrible that is why i am posting this message to people who are looking for boarding. now if you board there that is you but i would surf my options if i was you. before settling for lease there are places here in Jacksonville that charge the same and is a lot better and a lot more land.. all you have to do is LOOK ... the place I'm talking about is Westside Stables.. here is some options to help you look
