In April, I was taking care of my brother's sheltie,\r Sammie, and she became very ill. I took her\r to West Allis Animal Hospital, where I had the\r vet, sherry severson examine her. She and all\r the staff were very empathetic and took the time\r for me! Sammie, unfortunately did not make it,\r but I was very satisfied with the care that she \r received there. They explain things quite well,\r and Dr. Sherry was wonderful! She even sent\r a sympathy card to my brother and his family, who\r were very devastated to hear the bad news about\r their dog. Dr. Brian Nelson is so nice and really knows about FERRETS !!! Our ferrets are like our babies and get the best care and surgery with Dr. Nelson !!! Our dog had been going to another clinic 8 for years. We found out he needed to have a surgery, so we checked other animal hospitals in the area to compare prices. We saved hundreds of dollars and we will continue with all of his care at this facility. more

What a wonderful hospital in which to have a baby. They treat you like royalty, with spacious rooms, a deluxe menu to choose from at all hours of the day and the staff is superb. They attend to all your needs, while offering high skilled nursing care when needed. The lactation consultant comes directly to your room for any assistance and is available by phone as needed. more

A very good animal clinic for the prices. I have been taking my one year old yellow lab to this vet since he was 10 weeks old. The clinic is located in a very accessable area in West Allis. My first couple experiences were not the greatest. Dr. Richard Uhlig was my vet for the first 2 times I went there. The first time I met him, he did not even introduce himself, and the appointment was very quick. It did not seem like he cared. Then my third appointment I had an appointment with Dr. Brian Nelson. He has been my vet since, and I make sure I request him when I have to make an appointment. He is very friendly and takes the time to answer all of the questions. The rest of the staff there is great, and they are very concerned about the best interest for your pet. The clinic has very reasonable prices, and they are very technologically advanced.
