I recommend different trash service. We have had their service since 2013 and only switched to them due to a neighborhood rate. They locked us in to a 24 month contract. If you don't submit a letter within 60 days of your 24 month term, they auto renew your service for another 24 months. If you cancel service prior to the end of any 24 months, they charge you a $75 cancellation fee and a fee to pickup your receptacles. They also require you to pay your service 3 months in advance and will not prorate any back if you cancel service within that 3 months. We have always paid our invoice on time. Recently, we requested a special pickup of items that they refuse to pick up with regular service. Although, our quarterly bill had been paid on time, our separate invoice for our special pickup request was a little late. Due to the fact that our special pickup amount was the same amount as our quarterly rate and the invoices looked identical, other than in small print one detail said curb side service and the other said special pickup. I should have paid closer attention, but I assumed my online payment for regular service had not posted prior to the invoice going out, therefore, I thought it was the same invoice I had already paid and disregarded it. The following, scheduled pickup day, they picked up our receptacle and suspended our service. When I called, I was told it was due to not paying for our service and they are ready to send it to collections. After giving them my online confirmation that I did, in fact, pay our invoice on time, I was told this was for the special pickup. I paid it immediately, two days prior to our next, scheduled pickup day. We had to wait one week, until our next, scheduled delivery day to have our trash picked up, they charged me $15 to have it picked up, charged me $25 to redeliver my receptacles and $45 for my next invoice, that I haven't even received the invoice for yet and is not even due for another 3 weeks. Very disappointed! more

Great service! I always find the container where I left it not out in the street . The trash is never out in the street. more

Waste Connections customer service is the worst. The only thing they do on time is request payments. When I call to ask why my trash was not picked up they are rude and still demand I pay the whole month even though they did not pick up my trash. They claimed that there was something blocking dumpster, instead of calling to ask me about it or tell me their was an issue they just charging me without picking up any trash! Worst company! more

Waste connection was very rude ,when I ask to please get me another trash can because my trash can was no longer there when I left it outside on my pick up day, waste connection was rude and said that it was going to take a week ,I pay for my trash service yearly and that's how I'm going to get treated,is not worth it more

I've used this company for over 20 years and have never had any issues, except when it was my own fault. The drivers are courteous and customer service is stellar. You get what you pay for. more

Had them for many years until i realized how much they overcharged relative to other services and they increase their charges and also charge fuel charges. Go to Haggards for about 1/2 the cost with no fuel charges. W/C gets real testy when u call to cancel their overpriced service. Also frys me to pay them $15 to pick up their lousy cart. more

they change there rates to what ever they wan no notice no reason i live on east pawnee i will give there driver the credit e is the best we have had in years but he can not work hard enough to make up for the over charging of the company the rateing is for the driver..... more

I have been using this trash service for over a year and have never had a problem. I'm in a neighborhood where this trash service will pick up the trash from right next to my garage, so that makes taking out the trash a lot easier and the neighborhood looks nice without trash cans sitting out in the street. When I moved into my house, I was given a card for the first three months of service free, and I had no problem getting that when I mailed in the card. There are very few days that they don't come (I was surprised that they work all but just a few holidays), and they have always taken all of the trash that I had outside, even when I put a few boxes next to the trash can that didn't fit (though the agreement said they didn't have to take those). I've called them twice with questions and I've always gotten a really nice person who was extremely helpful. From reading the other review, it sounds like someone else has had trouble, but we haven't had any problems. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that almost everyone in my neighborhood uses their service. more

My family didn't have a very good experience with Waste Connections. We used them for two years. I know that some people might be satisfied but the people I've talked to don't like their service. There were a few times we had our trash out and they didn't even take it. Then they added an extra fee on our account for no reason and since we didn't want to pay it and argued they threw our trash all over the yard. We ended up paying the fee that we shouldn't of had to and told them we were getting a new company. more
