The personal attention to all details from the glass of wine to the wonderful scalp massage is absolutely amazing, not to mention the talent that Donato delivers to his client. Kai is amazing!!! I tried to get out of the potato chip blonde look. My former stylist wanted to charge me a small fortune to have it reversed. I went to Kai and she did a process called low-lights. It looks natural and growth blends beautifully. No need for the three week touch ups anymore. Kai is interesting to talk with. She is well traveled and a Newport Beach native. I've been going to Liz for several months and she's awesome. My hair was destroyed from over-processing at another salon and she recommend Global Keratin which made my hair look better than it ever has. I also love the color, the cut, and the style. My cousin was getting married at the St. Regis and I'm an out of town girl and had no idea where to go for an updo. I searched online and found out that they had a Salon at the Hotel. I am so glad I made an appt with a stylist named Deana. I was nervous at first and had no idea what to expect, but was immediately put at ease when I met the stylist, she is adorable! I was treated like a celebrity and Deana has such a wonderful personality. My hair turned out beautiful, I don't think i ever had my hair done this beautiful ever! I recommend this Salon and especially their stylist Deana to anyone who loves to feel great and look AWESOME!! Pros: Never had an Updo this beautiful ever!! Deana you're FAB!! more

I went HERE after a terrible experience at another salon. \r The first salon ruined my hair, so I went to Vogue Salon based off of reviews. I must say, from the time I made my appointment to the time I left I was completely happy with how I was treated.\r \r Now for the color:\r The first salon (Not vogue salon, a different one) I went to made my hair a weird yellow when I asked for platinum highlights. I was so distraught over the whole thing that my husband suggested we go look at wigs. I found the perfect color and took a swatch of the color to Liz at vogue salon. I went for a total change. I went from a messed up yellow blonde to a beautiful chestnut brown with auburn highlights. \r She not only corrected my hair color she perfected it!!! I am so impressed with her, I will never go anywhere else as long as I am in the OC. Who knows I may even fly to see her if I move elsewhere. The color came out EXACTLY like the swatch/pic I gave her!\r Now for the cut: \r I showed her a picture of the cut I wanted as well. And that too, came out EXACTLY like I wanted (just like the pic). Not to mention how she styled my hair… I had the best blow-out I have ever had at a salon.\r \r She is a true professional. And her assistant Jen was fantastic as well! \r \r My hair heart-break (from the other salon) has now been healed by Liz and Jen at Vogue Salon! I have been going to Kai for 4 years now. She is a great stylist and very receptive to what I want. I am a low maintenance kind of girl who likes to avoid using too many products in the morning, Kai cuts my hair so I can literally wash and go and I still look amazing. Kai also did my hair for my wedding and it came out even better than I had imagined! Pros: Warm, firendly and great at what she does! Cons: None! more

Im a lazy mid 20s guy. I hate getting my hair cut because I never really know what to do with it. I like a low maintenance haircut that doesnt require much styling and infrequent visits. That's where Kai comes in. She cuts my hair pretty short about an inch or so in lenth. Then I just let it go for about 6 months. As it grows out I can style it if I want or just towel dry and go. No one else has been able to reproduce it. Usually, I end up with long bangs or a weird neck line from other places, but something about her cut doesnt require anything else. She is the only person who cuts my hair now. Bottom line go see Kai and you wont be disappointed. more

I have been going to VSS for years and have always been so happy with the entire experience. From the reminder phone call, to the location, customer service, products, relaxed atmosphere. I always leave happy and laughing. My hair looks better and better with each appointment. Awesome blond just doesn't grow out of your head like this! Kai is a phenomenal stylist. I have been driving from the LA area for 8 years to have her cut my hair. During that time, I have tried at least 6 different stylists in the LA area and no one even comes close to Kai. WELL worth the drive for me! After a haircut from Kai, I can wash, dry and go! I've never gone to an actual salon for prom, I searched online and i picked vogue salon. I called up and told them to give me the best updo salon artist and they gave me Daisy. She is amazing! best updo artist ever When i took my prom pictures so many people pulled me aside and complimented my hair. After hours and hours of dancing my hair was still up and beautiful! I highly recommend Daisy to anyone. She is really sweet! The cost of my updo was 80 dollars plus tip 95. The minimum is ten, but she did such a great job I gave her a little something extra. I have been going to Vogue Salon for years. A friend of mine recommended me and I have in turrn, recommended many of my friends here! Steve Hernandez does a fantastic job every time. A master with color and you walk out of the salon with a cut that works through until your next appointment! Very professional salon. The owner, Donato is very welcoming and constantly encouraging his staff to keep their technique sharp with mandatory educational classes on-site for his stylists. Pros: Not a stuffy or snooty salon.
