Frank at the Village Tailor Shop does excellent work for very reasonable prices. I'm in here at least one a month getting pants taken in (nothing ever fits right off the hanger!) and he does a great job. He's friendly and kind, and twice I've taken things back because they've loosened a little and he fixed them no questions asked. Quality of the work is what you would expect to pay 50% more for elsewhere. As I said, I get the back of my pants taken in regularly for $12. It's well worth it. I was pleasantly surprised a few weeks ago when I took a pair of jeans for tailoring; the cost was only $5 since Frank said he used a different technique that he thought would work better for the material. That?s the kind of person Frank is ? he wants the best for the customer. I note that another reviewer said that Frank was rude on the phone; while I make no excuses for him, I find that even well I call with a question, he is indeed abrupt. I think this simply comes from the fact that it?s hard to answer questions about clothing over the phone. All in all, Village Tailor Shop is great. I would highly recommend! I called the Village Tailor Shop to ask about hemming a dress. The man I spoke to had no interest in answering my questions, took an annoyed tone with me, and hung up on me twice after spending only a matter of seconds on the phone with me. I will definitely not ever give this shop my business, and I would like to suggest that their attitude may not please their other customers, either. I cannot speak to the quality of their work, but the quality of their character is such that I have no interest in finding out more. Cons: Nasty customer service more
