Cute, quaint with thoughtfully selected books for kids of all ages - including a good young adult section my teen niece thought was cool. The space is cozy with books placed in themes like all pirate books are in an old trunk. Its more fun to shop and browse. The puppets are great too and I've bought tons of finger puppets to add to a book. I had no idea they had such a good selection of adult books -- not the junk you see at other places, but all books I would want for my library. I can see why they have been in this cute Montrose for so long -- they have lots of personality.

They also have an amazingly great hand puppet selection. The store is small, but they fit a good selection in it.

But what Peter Rabbit specializes in is personalizing items. They have a great selection of items to choose from, and they do excellent work.

If I were to buy walking shoes, Dansko or Born, then I would surely buy them here but alas I have not actually purchased anything here. I went in looking for the new New Balance walking shoe and the lady who helped me was so nice and she even pointed out a sticker on my jeans that I had forgotten to remove. I loved this place and I love Honolulu Street in Montrose, the little storefronts and the people are so friendly.

This is a Great shoe store, family oriented and great service, I recomend this store because they have a great selection of shoes and the girls give great service. They always have my size and if they dont they order it. they have shoes for women, kids and men, and they have all colors in UGGs... I love this store....
Pros: great service, great selection, nice store.
Cons: they close at 7, too early for mee. this is the only bad thing

As I walked in the shop, the man at the counter asked me what I needed. I just told him I wanted to browse and I went back to it. There were enormous boxes stacking around and I was wondering what they were. He told me those are in stock but they didnt stack it up yet. I browsed through the boxes and managed to swing myself a few things.
