Tustin Car Wash

Was convinced to upgrade to the ""wash and hand wax"" for $40. It might have been worth it if they had cleaned the car properly before waxing it. When I saw how much dirt was on the ""finished"" job, I asked to speak with the manager. He said he would ""make it right"" and proceeded to run it through the wash again. Well, now that the dirt had been waxed over, the second wash had no impact. I will not go back again. more

About 3 weeks ago I took my car in to Tustin Car Wash in Orange for a hand wax. I spoke with ROMO so always tries to cut a deal for more than I want to spend and he offered me the total wash, HAND WAX, cleaning inside and out, tire cleaning, fragrance, etc. for $40. The hand wax usually sells for $49.95 I believe. I waited in the patio and watched as they drove my car to the area where special handling is done, like HAND WAX. The workers dried off my car, cleaned up the windows, did everything BUT the hand wax. They never even pretended to put wax on my car; I need it because I've lived by the ocean for 3 years and the paint is oxidizing badly. I was in a hurry and had already paid for the ""deal"" before entering the patio, so decided to talk about it next time. (I go fairly regularly) About 3 weeks later I went and told ROMO what had(n't) happened. He acted like he knew nothing about it and said, ""Next time tell me, and I'll be sure they do it."" I've observed that he is the guy who tells the boys what to do, so he had to know and perhaps had told them not to hand wax my car. Today I went again, and asked for the manager. The girl at the register told me it was one of the workers outside, who couldn't move away from me fast enough and said ""Everything is OK now. I've told them to hurry up."" (They had put 4 cars ahead of mine to be washed). This man was no more the manager than I am. I have spoken with the manager before, and he wasn't in today. I thought maybe this bozo was his assistant. \r I will never return to this place to be lied to and cheated. These people have no ethics or scruples, from the 'capo' (ROMO) to the girl taking the money. more

I love my neighborhood car wash because they always clean my car so thoroughly by hand, they never miss a spot. I go out of my way to make time to bring my car there instead of whatever car wash is on my way. Also, the prices are very reasonable. They always have magazines to read and nice tables where I can organize my purse while I wait. My parents live in RSM and whenever we go to one of the car washes there, they always miss an area that is very noticeable and don't vacuum very well. And they are more expensive! Tustin Car Wash always gets my car, floors, trunk, windows and everything in between perfectly clean for a great price. And I love bringing in my punch card :) Pros: Very detailed when washing my car, good prices more
