Farming 3/26/2006

This working farm is while worth the short drive from the city to Washington county . It is located on Route 88 south. There is a huge parking area to park. They have their own store and nursery. A lot of the products in the store are actually grown or made there. They hold many craft classes there. There are several children's programs. Halloween is a big event out there with a big pumpkin patch. It is a great place to take the kids more

Wow 9/29/2005

My daughter took me here when I was in Pittsburgh visiting. I could not believe that the place was as big as it is. They have everything from a bakery to fresh produce to lawn and garden supplies! I was amazed at how big the place truly is. Most of the prices seem to be good. A few things seem to be a little high but overall seems to be a good place to go. more

Great Place 8/19/2005

This quaint farm has more charm than most places these days. You get the feel of being on a real farm as chickens, geese, dogs and bunnies are seen wandering around the property. A great place for kids also. They have fresh produce, unique gifts (mostly having to do with the garden) and decorative figures such as angels and santas, and also antiques. A major bonus is the local corn delivered daily starting in early july. more

Large selection 8/19/2005

They have everything you can imagine for canning and gardening. They sell plants, seeds, bulbs and planter. They also have fresh fruits and vegetables as well as some great apple cider. They sell canning supplies and cookbooks. They also have coffee, tea, homemade fudge as well as many many other things. They have so many items it takes a good while to look at everything. The plants can not be beat. The are healthy and not a bad price. During October they always have pumpkins and hayrides for the kids. A great place for the whole family. more
