South of the park, you'll find a number of athletic facilities, including three little league and regulation baseball diamonds, football and soccer fields and bocce ball courts. Further south, the nation's largest metropolitan zoo houses 6,000 animals.

I've heard a "not very good reputation" about how crowd it has here. But, when I tried once to this rink, my opinion has changed. I think this is the best ice skate rink I've ever known. I can play as long as I want withount paying more for another round. All staff are good and helpful. Only bad thing about this rink is there are too much people every weekend, but if you come on weekday, you'll never find it.

I also ask for some special pricing for a company party and no deal there. There are much better bowling lanes in the Houston area.

I've lived in the Houston area for years now, but I never visited the zoo until my sister came to visit. We made a half day out of it, and we had a blast. We saw the new house exhibits, and we took our time walking around the zoo. We ate at the cafe that was located near the entrance to re-energize ourselves for a few more hours of fun.

This Western wear outpost has a unique exterior, so that anyone can see it from a distance. Inside, it smells like a barn (must be the ghosts of all the cows and critters who wound up as jackets) and is packed full of loud shirts, Stetson-esque hats new and used, piles of boots and Hollywood hipsters. Which is not to say that this hokey shack isn't without its charms: framed country sheet music, black-and-white pictures of icons like Roy Rogers and eclectic doodads and memorabilia.

After hearing all the hype about this "different" kind of Mexican restaurant, we tried Lopez. We won't be going back. Although the Margaritas were good, the snacks and food were not great and we will not miss them. The peanuts instead of other Mexican-type starters, were a very poor alternative. The food, although elegantly presented, lacked any flavor or flair All in all, a remarkably disappointing dining experience given the words printed in various publications. Additionally, a Mexican restaurant that gives quesadillas as their main attraction, can't be all that great.

This place is pretty over rated. i had some kind of vegetarian dish, but i don't really remember what i ate...enough said. it is a little too crowded to be romantic. the wines are over priced...marked up 4 to 5 times, but i suppose it is to be expected for it being in the galleria area. i do commend the staff. they are very knowledgeable and well trained.

I originally thought this restaurant was overrated but after visiting it for the second time I changed my mind. Our food and service were excellent this time around and I'm looking forward to dining there again in the future. The selection of wines is well thought out (there must be over 400 bottles) and reasonably priced. If I were going to die tomorrow, I would have my last meal here for sure!

I usually order pizza at least 1 or 2 times a week (sometimes 3). about 3 months ago i discovered new york pizza. the best kept secret in my neighborhood. the cheese pizza is amazing- especially the huge 29" pizza for a great value. i have referred all of my friends to new york pizza and they too now consider it their favorite. However, i have only eaten at 2 locations. the location by the galleria on westheimer was no where as delicious as the one located on west gray. besides the taste, the service is fantastic. they recognise me when i call to order (maybe not a good thing :) ) i always pick up my order. delivery is handy, but it never tastes as good.
