SO Delicious! 8/11/2011

We eat here at least twice a month, love it!!! I recommend the Seafood Karie or any of the curries. In response to suzyq: I (and probably 10 various people I know) have eaten here tons and tons of times and *never* have had any problems with the food quality. No the place normally isn't busy - a lot of people do take-out orders though. This isn't some hip scene that you come to in order to be seen, but it is wonderful quality food and the service is excellent. more

Be afraid, be very afraid 6/5/2011

We went there Friday night during the height of dinner hour. There was no one in there which is a bad sign to begin with. My husband and I each ordered a different dish. I had a seafood dish which i recall ordering before and it being very good. However, I had to actually spit the mussels out because they tasted foul like they were old or rotten. My husband thought the soup tasted the same way. Everything tasted old and close to being spoiled if not already. We were actually afraid to eat the food. We thought because the place was empty that food doesn't get turned around and was left over from last week or longer. We will not be back. GROSS. more

Our favorite neighborhood restaurant! 9/27/2010

We don't go out to eat that often, but we have visited this place enough that the owner knows us and knows what our favorites are. We have been guilty of sticking to the same orders on most occasions. The woman who runs the restaurant is very sweet and attentive. The food is delicious, and the place is hardly ever crowded. I would hate for this gem to go out of business because it is truly a jewel in the neighborhood. It is in the same shopping center as Carrabba's, and that side of the parking lot is always packed. Would be nice to have more people willing to explore something other than chain restaurants. more

BAD EXPERIENCE 3/30/2010

This ""was"" one of my favorite places. The lady who served us today wasn't satisfied with her tip (regardless how much it was) came chasing me for a 15% tip because it was dinner. Now I'm not cheap but if the tip isn't added onto the check you could give however much you want as far as how satisfied you are with the service. Understandable if she were to add it on the check. American cuisine that 18% gratuity applies to parties 8+. We had a party of 3. She should not have done that at all. I was very upset. If anyone gets the Asian lady with the dark hair in a ponytail empty your purse/wallet. I will never go there again. more

Well Worth a Look 1/21/2009

Very nice selection. And the country Pad Thai is about the best I've had anywhere. And I'd also highly recommend the Seafood Karrie- they do a wonderful job balancing sweet and savory in the same dish. Yum. Pros: Some wonderful flavors Cons: Service can occasionally be slow more

Best Thai in Jax 4/2/2008

I've tried all of the local Thai restaurants and this one wins, hands down. Food is excellent (and consistent). If you enjoy curry, they really know how to do it well. Soups are outstanding and service is always good. Pros: Quality of food, service, and ambience. Not noisy; easy to converse. more

awsome 1/23/2008

Too good to describe, you just gotta go to experiance it. The food is great it is family run, and the chef is the owner and he takes pride in his work and it shows. stay away from the pad thai, unless you have had it before most people hate this dish although a few LOVE it. All in all it is the bomb!! For all you fire spice junkies out there don't go over 5 spice they will go to 10, but unless you have a death wish don't do it. my wife who does not like spice at all loves 1 spice. Pros: Food Food Food, family run makes it nice, but the food is the thing. Cons: Sometimes when really busy can be a little slow with service, but otherwise great. more

Yum Thai! 1/5/2006

Great place! The food, the portions and the prices were great. Awesome Thai iced tea! The only problem with the whole experience was there was only 1 server for the whole restaurant. Yes, it was Tuesday night and there were only 6 tables, but it took forever to get our order taken. My only advice is not to go on a Tuesday or get take out, but definately go, you'll love it as much as me. Pros: Large portions, Low prices, Local Cons: 1 server more
