I have spent a lot of time searching for a doctor who can help me with my jaw problems, pain and popping. When I was referred to Dr. Olmos, I had a wonderful experience, yes it's a price, but you pay for excellent service, they are able to come in on Satudays or Sundays on emergencys. And on the contrary the staff is very knowledgable and not just out of high school. during my treatment there I got to know them. Well one graduated 4 years ago, but you can find that in any doctors offices. They are all such wonderful people, it's not fair to bash them on your one experience. They do give a lot of recommendations, if you follow through, you can see how much improvement you can get. Yes you should go here. more

I stick by my original review (written FOUR years ago), and I am definitely not a staff member. I was a high school student at the time who found the staff to be phenomenal. To be fair, my treatment was conducted between 2003 and 2004. At the time, this was a quality establishment, and I rated it on what went on during my own personal experience. If the quality of service has gone down, that's unfortunate and this deserves to be noted (as the other poster has done). I was not trying to spew lies - I really did have a great experience here. The location was in a shady area, but the facility itself was nice and clean. If the services for the price are not worthwhile (and yes, I too paid $5000), steer clear. more

If I could give it a negative star I would. It is that bad! If you read the first review you can tell it is a review written by a staff member to cover up how horrible their service really is. First I coughed up about 5 grand for them to make me a plastic tray I could have bought at Rite Aide that did not even help me with my pain. Then they recommend medicine that they charge ridiculous amounts for, that is not included in the five thousand I have already paid. My insurance was to have taken care of it but the office people kept giving me the run around and they did not bill till about six months later. The doctor is never there and the staff is very incompetent. Its a bunch a young girls right out of high school working on your jaw, beware you should ask to see if they are certified dental assistant because you can be for sure they are not! This place was a sham overall. Its located in the ghetto on el cajon boulevard and the "treatment" is so overpriced you wonder is that all I am getting for my money? one measely piece of plastic? be for sure that is all you are getting. Go to someone more reputable. The doctor says he has been awarded for this and that but it's no where reputable when you really do your own research. He is just trying to make a quick buck off of you. And if you are still in pain afterwards they will try to get you to get braces or another mouth piece, that will run you another ten grand. I am warning you from experience. Look out! He and his staff are con artists. more

After years of migraines, neck pain, and unbearable teeth grinding, I was finally diagnosed with TMJ. Fortunately for me, there was a specialist nearby who came very well recommended. The doctors and assistants at the TMJ Therapy Centre did a comprehensive initial exam and sat both myself and my father down to explain every result and all of my treatment options. We paid for the entire course of the therapy upfront (I believe they also offer payment options), and for the months that followed, I received excellent service every time I went in. Because my schedule was limited (I was leaving for college before the treatment was supposed to be finished), they were able to work with me and amend the treatment plan accordingly. The office also offers orthodontic services as well as other dental services, and every single staff member is extremely well trained, professional, and kind. They made me feel relaxed during a very stressful time, and worked around my schedule in order to allow me to get the most out of therapy. more
