They did an extremely good job on my auto body repair. Though they tend to be on the pricey side, they are still pretty reasonable and I did not feel like I was being ripped off. The staff is pretty friendly and my repairs tended to be done before the actual predicted finish date.

There has been a huge influx of hair salons in Poway in the last few years and prices have been driven downward. Unfortunately, lower prices usually signal a lowered quality of service. Rose’s has been around for the last 8 or so years, and has maintained the quality of services offered for a very reasonable price. They offer a very large selection of hair products as well, making them a dual salon and supply. Along with excellent hair services (I’ve personally never been disappointed, and neither have the other clients I’ve gotten to talk to), Rose’s also offers other beauty (waxing, etc) and nail services as well.

They came out very quickly after my mother’s business had been broken in to and worked very efficiently at changing the locks and making sure the doors were more secure. They didn’t overcharge us, even though it was an urgent, weekend call. They have been more than helpful in the past and have offered friendly, reasonably priced, efficient service each and every time.

Years of classical training were paying off and I was ready to trade in my slightly-better-than-student level viola for a professional instrument. I was referred to Robert Cauer Violins by my regular instrument repairman (Kevin Smith of Encinitas—look him up as well, he’s excellent), and was amazed when I walked through the door. Based out of what looked like a home, the interior made trying out instruments an amazing experience. With wooden, carpeted floors, the acoustics were very nice and allowed me to hear the instruments I was trying out in a much better manner than in a regular music store. There was a wide selection of instruments in varying price ranges, and the man that assisted me took great care in showing me instruments that fit my needs and wants. I was able to take out two instruments to try them out further at home, and felt as though I got a very good deal on the instrument I ended up buying. They also sell other stringed instruments as well as a very nice selection of bows (which are also very well priced), and also did an extremely good job repairing my old instrument. Robert Cauer himself is a very gifted musician, and was kind enough to step in and talk to us about the instruments we were looking at. They also took the time to check in with us after my purchase, making sure that everything was working out all right and I was satisfied with my purchase. Though it was a two hour drive from my home, I was extremely pleased with the service I received and the selection and pricing that was available.

He tends to be very excitable and he hates shots, but they’ve always been good about making the process as fast and comfortable for him as possible. I've had the amazing luck of always getting an incredible dessert at Zathmary's. Along with offering a lot more (they have a huge selection of other foods as well), their desserts have always hit the spot. They make mouthwatering pastries, and it's very hard to leave with only one thing because everything there looks--and tastes--so wonderful. My personal favorite is their apple pie. Not only is it expansive, it's absolutely perfect and isn't overly sweet like a lot of pies can be. They also offer delivery during certain hours, which is also quite convenient.

I go to Zaftigs from time to time, and have never left disappointed. They offer a very large menu with a variety of items to choose from, and make delightful breakfast items as well as incredible desserts. Though their mashed potatoes have me absolutely smitten, all of the entrée items that I have tried there have been wonderful. I am most impressed by their dessert items--both the chocolate cake and the apple caramel pie that I had were to die for. I always leave Zaftigs with a full stomach and a not so empty wallet, so it's a very, very good meal for the price. The service has always been excellent; they have a very friendly staff on hand that provide nice, prompt service as well. Go on weekend nights and they tend to be packed, however, so be ready for a wait.

After years of migraines, neck pain, and unbearable teeth grinding, I was finally diagnosed with TMJ. Fortunately for me, there was a specialist nearby who came very well recommended. The doctors and assistants at the TMJ Therapy Centre did a comprehensive initial exam and sat both myself and my father down to explain every result and all of my treatment options. We paid for the entire course of the therapy upfront (I believe they also offer payment options), and for the months that followed, I received excellent service every time I went in. Because my schedule was limited (I was leaving for college before the treatment was supposed to be finished), they were able to work with me and amend the treatment plan accordingly. The office also offers orthodontic services as well as other dental services, and every single staff member is extremely well trained, professional, and kind. They made me feel relaxed during a very stressful time, and worked around my schedule in order to allow me to get the most out of therapy.

When we needed a last minute floral arrangement, all of the other florists wanted to charge us an arm and a leg for what we wanted. Crystal Gardens was the only florist that was not only able to get our order done in time, but was also able to keep the cost reasonable. We were very pleased with the quality of the arrangements and the flowers. When another emergency event (prom!) caused us to need another quick floral favor (boutonniere, this time), Crystal Gardens did not let us down. Staff was pleasant and very nice to work with.
