Could Do Better 2/13/2011

My daughter and I went to Somebody's Attic in Logan and noticed a windows display with some items we were interested in purchasing. We asked and were told that the items would be available on a certain day but nobody knew which day. I called back four times and was told the same thing. When we went back, everything was gone from the window. I think either the employees wanted the items or they were not tellling us the date so their friends could get the items. Somebody's Attic needs to post the time and date so everybody can have a fair and equal chance at items in the windows. more

Really low prices, friendly environment 8/21/2005

The prices are incredibly low, the workers are all very kind and helpful. It's a great store, one of my favorite thrift stores. I've found some of my favorite clothing items there. It can be difficult to find a lot of really worthwhile items, but that is obviously to be expected in thrift stores. They also have a lot of miscellaneous items as well as clothing. more

Small alternative thrift store 8/19/2005

Somebody's Attic is a nice alternative to the other big thrift store in town (Deseret Industries, the DI). It’s never as busy as the DI, so you can avoid the crowds and maybe have a better chance of finding a great item first. However, I think a lot of people in Logan tend to donate to the DI first, so the selection is not as big. There are mostly clothes in this store, but they do have a miscellaneous section upstairs (watch your step on the steep stairs!). There's usually records, kitchen supplies, and maybe exercise equipment and furniture on the second floor. It’s like most thrift stores – most of the time you don’t find anything, but the excellent rare finds make it worth it to look. more
