Smile Care Dental

Dr. Najlaa is a skillful dentist. She has done several crowns for my husband and me. I have had crowns by other dental groups over my lifetime, so I am able to compare her professional abilities with others. She is the only dentist that puts a crown in and has it fit properly right off the bat. They use a great lab to do the work. The dentist has no control over the HMO business. She is employed by Smile Care. We stay because of the excellent ability of this dentist. There are other dentists that may work at the same facility. I would only go to her. I took my son to this place for fillings. I told them that i only wanted whote feelings for his permenant teeth (not covered byy insurance) and silver fillings (covered) on the baby teeth. Well the put white fillings on all teeth and charged me for them. He also went to the Orthodontist and they told him he had to have 4 teeth extracted. They were charging me $900 to have this proceedure done and told me that both insurance he had did not cover. (his father also has insurance for him). So i talked to his father and he said he would take him to his DR. and the insurance DID cover and we only had to pay $25.(should have been a hint) They did not communiate with eachother or with me so about 5 appointments for have his braces put in kept getting pushed back. The orthodontist was rude and they tried to blame me for missing the appointments. I stopped treatment and was charged for services my son did not even get and was told that I had to pay anyway. So ling story short I paid abour 1500 for 5 appointments. Now my insurance wont cover braces anymore because SMILE dont care billed them and me. So now I have to pay out of pocket for his new set (somewhere else). Cons: everything more
