Shish Kebab Mediterreanan Grill

I've been to this restaurant many times - on my own, with my family, and with my friends. It has a very nice atmosphere for almost any kind of occasion. \r \r The food is tasty and they know how to cook authentic Turkish food, highly recommended. I would strongly suggest Adana Kebab. This was the worst customer service experience I ever had. Myself, my wife, 3 kids and my parents went for a dinner there and were welcomed very nicely. Once seated the owner(greedy) came for the order and since my old parents wont eat much and not sure how the taste would be, we ordered just a couple of soups and a large dish which he said wouldnt be enough for all. We said we want to have a taste first and the would order more later. The owner was so mad, that when one of the waiters brought the appetizer, he rushed to our table and took the plates off from my parents saying the order is for only two people. We immediately got off the chairs and said we want to cancel the order. He said he is very happy and started abusing in his native language. I called the police and only then his other partners came out appologizing. I am planning to make a formal complaint against the owner and I am being honest in my story so anyone who reads this review should think twice before going to this restaurant Pros: Nothing Cons: Greedy Owners more

Cafe Shish Kebab is as good as an upscale Turkish restaurant you can find.\r I'm surprised the other reviews are not better, I thought the food was perfect. I went as a group of five on a week night.The atmosphere is nice, it has the best design out of all the Turkish restaurants in the city. It was on the pricey side, we ordered a LOT of food and Raki (Turkish anise-flavored alcoholic beverage) and ended up paying $35 per person with tax and tip.. I have noticed that most people don't want to shell out this amount of money for an ethnic food experience and I totally get that. But if you want upscale Turkish, I think this place has a lot to offer.Finally all the staff are so kind and polite.The grilled meats were all good. Definitely try the chicken and lamb kabobs and the Adana. The chicken was sooo juicy and tender, definitely my favorite. I will be back.\r \r more

A friend of mine and I went to cafe shishkabab for dinner and it was great. We were seated promptly and our waitress was very nice. The food is very authentic and delicious, the portions were large and the price was very reasonable. My experience at cafe shishkebab was great and I would recomend every one to check it out! My husband and I recently stumbled upon Cafe Shishkebab. We decided to have lunch there and really enjoyed it. We were greeted pleasantly at the door. The person who greeted us accompanied us to our table and made several recommendations as to menu items. I ended up having an okra dish, which was really tasty. Despite being located in a boring shopping center, the restaurant is decorated nicely and is a pleasant atmosphere. Since our first visit, we have ordered carry-out on a number of occasions and have yet to be disappointed. The mixed kebab platter is especially good - the doner kebab is really nicely seasoned and delicious! Overall we were pleasantly surprised to find such a good Turkish treasure in the middle of surbaban Columbus. We would definitely recommend it and will be returning.
