THIS IS A REQUEST TO THE ""SHELL"" Station on Hwy 3 and El Dorado\r Your down the road from Ellington Air force Base and Nasa(Johnson Space Center). So why are you flying 3 torn AMERICAN FLAGS??????Flying Old Glory is not a flippant affair. Every flag-waving American's duty is to follow the Flag Code signed by President Roosevelt in 1942, decreeing that ""no disrespect"" be shown to the U.S. flag. That means replacing the symbol when it becomes torn and tattered, and discarding old flags with dignity, ""preferably by burning.""\r \r Maybe it's because the code is more of a moral requirement than a legal one, without penalty for violations, that far too many individuals and businesses feel they can get away with thumbing their noses at its demand for dignity and respect for the flag.\r \r Sure, you can't get in ""trouble"" in the legal sense for flying a pathetically deteriorated national symbol, but those who do pay a price in disgrace. Because there's nothing flattering about a person or business that chooses to fly the Stars and Stripes, then leaves it hanging in neglect and dishonor.\r \r After all, people fly the flag to show their patriotism and national pride, but both take a serious hit when the flags they're flying are torn to forgotten shreds.\r \r So do yourself, the nation's veterans and perhaps even your business a favor: If you can't treat Old Glory with the respect it deserves, take it down, discard it properly, and hang something else up there, something that doesn't pierce the heart of a war veteran when it's not cared for properly. more

Do not go here for a state inspection!!! 3/24/2009

I went here to get a state inspection. They failed my state inspection because ""magically"" my wheel locks fell off the two wheels on the passenger side. I had washed my car myself a couple of days before so I know they were there because I saw them. I would have noticed if my wheel locks or any bolts were missing. My wheel lock key was in my glove compartment so I am positive that they took off my wheel locks to try to get me to buy some more from them. I told them that I washed my car myself a couple of days ago and they were there, so how can wheel locks just fall off by themselves? I didn't have a flat, no tires were missing, no rims were missing, so why just the wheel locks? All they had to say was, ""that's weird."" I had to spend more money elsewhere on wheel locks and then go back so that they could pass my car. Do NOT go here for a state inspection or anything else for that matter. They are liars who just want your money. Pros: Nothing Cons: Their lies more
