I love this place. They are the best here. They have the best prices and great quality. My most recent purchase was a Simon G ring that I am completely in love with. I get a compliment once a day on my ring if not more times than that. If anyone needs jewelry or repairs this is the place to go. Thank you so much Sharif's you're the best! more

I brought in a ring that I thought needed a sapphire replaced. The saleswoman looked at my ring through a loupe and said the stone I wanted replaced had an inclusion and that's why it looked discolored to the eye. She even found a second stone that she thought had the same problem. She handed my ring to the jeweler/owner and he wanted to clean it before letting me know the cost of replacing any stones. After the ring was cleaned, it looked better but I thought it was best that I go ahead and replace the stones anyway - since I was told they had inclusions. The jeweler/owner came out from the back - was agitated and yelled at me for wanting to go forward with the replacement. I was so shocked at his reaction to me, I couldn't say a word - I just kept looking at my ring while he repeated himself about three times - throwing his hands in air and making a scene. I was so choked up and embarrassed that I just stood up and walked out. \r \r I appreciate that he didn't want to charge me for something he felt was unnecessary, but his reaction to me came out of nowhere and I was stunned by his lack of professionalism. I won't be dealing with this store again. more

Walking into Sharif's, you feel as if you are visiting friends. The atmosphere is so welcoming and inviting, you want to linger and explore. There is never any high pressure. The selection is well thought out. There is truly something for everyone at every price. They have magnificent gems, but one of my favorite purchases was a Black Hills gold ring for less than $100, which I wear proudly. Thomas and his staff are the best! Sharif Jewelers is a great jewelry store to get high quality, beautiful jewelry. They have been in business for over 28 years. I have recently visited Sharif jewelers to buy a gift for my mom for her birthday. I had shopped around trying to find her something nice for a very good price, i found the best prices at Sharif Jewelers, and was treated like i was family and as though I shopped there for years! I was very impressed by everything from the coffee, to the great selection of merchandise all the way to customizing mother's pendants and the jewelers they have on-site! Sharif Jewelers is very commited to making their customers happy. I would recommend for anyone to visit them and be confident they will have found their jeweler for life! I will no longer recommend Sharif's. I have been a customer since 1987. Seven months ago at the Folsom store, they ""repaired"" my diamond engagement ring by replacing the 6 prong setting with a 4 prong one without my knowledge. My beautiful diamond fell out last month and was lost. When I came in to look at another diamond, they asked for a $200 deposit to hold the new diamond for a few days. I called to have it put back in stock and found out that they DO NOT REFUND DEPOSITS - STORE CREDIT ONLY! Only after an argument would they return my deposit. Now I can see that even my first diamonds were set in these cheap settings and that is why I had lost a diamond previously. You don't have to be rich and famous to shop there, but you better be on your guard or they WILL take advantage of you. All the smiling sales girls, coffee and donuts in the world would not make me go back. UPDATE: 2 weeks and still no response to my letters. Pros: Smiling, pretty sales girls who know nothing, coffee & sweets, flashy store Cons: Watch out for tricky sales techniques, know your 4 C's, be firm, don't trust more
