Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino

Went a couple times and sometimes I win and sometimes not. But there are plenty of things to do other than gamble. There is a small Indian museum, shopping, entertainment, and plenty of places to eat. From bbq, seafood, comfort foods, steaks, mexican, asian, etc and even a food court. more

Whatever tax breaks the Seminole are getting here are not going into the consumer's pocket! The Hard Rock is a great place to go with a group of friends for a night out. After you find a space (valet also fills up quickly, so good luck with that) and walk at minimum half a mile back to the casino, you have some fun slots, but not the best poker situation. Long waits for a table make it difficult to play here. But there is a comedy club, steakhouse, concert hall, and many other restaurants (in a range of prices) and entertainment venues inside and just behind the casino. It's all here, the places are all close to each other, but far away from Fort Lauderdale, or any other place you're most likely coming from in order to meet up your friends. If you're not eating at a cafe-style serve yourself eatery, expect to find prices a bit unreasonable no matter where you are. The hotel has a nice pool area and I'm sure nice rooms (I'm only reviewing from a evening entertainment standpoint) but the rooms are pricey, starting at $350 at a minimum. I can't see paying that much to stay basically in the middle of nowhere, far from a beach. But this is a popular bachelor and bachelorette party location due to their ability to cater to large groups. more

Located in Hollywood, Florida, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino is full of something for everyone, even if you do not gamble. There are lots of gambling opportunities- slots to poker, but I was disappointed to see the only table games were poker. Shopping was plentiful- there were many nice shops to explore. There were lots of entertainment choices- everything from a comedy club to live music. Restaurant selection was great with lots of variety, from casual to upscale. The atmosphere is lots of fun and the grounds and casino are immaculate. The pool is large with a tropical theme. If you have been to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Vegas, this is not quite the same atmosphere, but still a good time. more

First is the gambling - slots and poker, mainly Texas Hold'em. They run tournaments several nights a week. Pay outs are very fair. Sit & Go tournaments are held all day everyday. Progressive bad beat jackpots can reach a couple hundred thousand $$ and more! If you want to learn how to play poker, they have free lessons every week day morning. The poker floor is now smoke free!!! Second is the prime rib in the Council Oaks restaurant. THE most tender, delicious prime rib I've ever had. Well worth the $40 price. Third is the rock star memorabilia throughout - fun to look at. Fourth is the beautiful architecture and decorating. Fifth is the people watching. Sixth is the gambling - the real reason anyone comes here. more

This place is nothing short of wild. It is practically its own city with nothing but casinos, shows, clubs, shops and bars. One could easily show up on a Friday or Saturday night and drop a couple hundred dollars depending on what all they did. The place is absolutely beautiful and has about the constant cleanliness of a theme park. It offers activities for every person - whether you're a broke college student or a VIP with money to burn. My only complaint would be that it can get VERY crowded and parking can be horrendous (be prepared to walk a mile plus. more

The Seminole Hard Rock Resort and Spa holds something for everyone - the rooms are exquisite, the casino is clean and well run, there is a huge selection of restaurants and food courts as well as high end stores to shop in. The pool has a man made beach and a huge rock waterslide and oceans of chairs! It is a fabulous place for an evening out, a weekend getaway or a business convention. more

This place is awesome. The inside of the hotel itself is very different than your reg. hotels. They have a bar that is in the middle of the hotel that gives you that outdoor feeling. There are waterfalls and plants everywhere .. Its like being in a jungle. Everyone was quite nice and its alittle pricey but for the service it is great. more

I love this place!!! There's so much to do here, you can choose from the many slot machines, some which require only 5 cents per game, or if you're feeling lucky try your hand at a poker game. Theres also an outdoor mall with many stores, a movie theather, food court, live entertainment, strip club, lots more. If you'll be staying at the luxorious hotel they offer a delious buffet dinner and a relaxing day spa. This is a wonderful place to go on vacation or just for a day filled with fun! more
