The Sea Shell is a fantastic place to stay. I have been coming to the Jersey shore with my family for over a decade and have ALWAYS stayed at the Sea Shell. The people are friendly and eager to help. The food has always been great, my family rarely leaves the pool or beach to go anywhere else for lunch and the dinner is exceptional. Try to Garlic Clams and Mussels! TO DIE FOR! And now they have added a breakfast restaurant! What more could we ask for? You have to try this place. They have given us hundreds of wonderful family memories over the years! more

An absolute must visit! 4/26/2011

The Sea Shell is absolutely one of the best places to visit on LBI! The service was friendly and wonderfully accommodating. The food was great and not really that expensive, regardless that what other people had written. (The average lunch being around 10$ and dinner around $20. ) The location is unbelievable and the party atmosphere is so much fun, not overwhelming at all... An absolute must visit! Also, they have recently redone the rooms which are comfortable and clean. more

Best Kept Secret 4/4/2011

We had breakfast at the Sea Shell this past summer. It is the best kept secret on LBI! Everything we ordered was delicious. The fruit platter was so fresh and beautifully displayed. My daughter enjoyed the homemade waffle and devoured the crispy bacon! The breakfast burrito was big enough to feed a small village! If you want to enjoy a delicious, quiet, outdoor breakfast overlooking the ocean, this is the place for you. more

The Palm Grill is the place to be in the summer, especially on the weekends! The food is delicious and the staff is fun and always catering to the customers! The atmosphere is wonderful with the live music and a great way to party all afternoon long by the beach! more

Great memories 3/22/2011

After spending every summer in Beach Haven during my childhood it only came naturally to have my college graduation party at the beach as well. I decided to have it at the Sea Shell on a Sunday afternoon under their Tiki hut. The decorations, tables, music, food, and drinks were better then I ever could have imagined them to be. I began planning the menu with the event planning staff a few months prior and they executed it perfectly. The entire event was wonderful. I had friends and family stay at the hotel and we spent an afternoon enjoying drinks outside and dinner at the restaurant. Everyone has been talking about my graduation party since and many of the guests can’ t wait to have events there too. more

Unforgettable Experience 3/14/2011

Our wedding weekend was an unforgettable experience thanks to the Shell and their amazing staff. The Hughes family did an amazing job at accommodating us and providing us with anything we needed. They treated us like family and couldn't be more welcoming. The wedding planner, Jaimee, is awesome and worked with me planning out each detail. She was supportive and available anytime I had a question. more

Awesome Time 3/10/2011

My family and I have been vacationing at the Jersey Shore for more years than I can count. Last summer we stayed at the Seashell Resort and Beach Club and had the best time ever. From the moment we walked into the lobby and received our room card it was a fabulous experience. Delicious food - super drinks - right on the beach! Our room was very nice and we literally did not have to move our car the whole time we were there. If you go - and you should - have a Lobster Martini! YUmmm YUmmm more

Highly Recommend 3/4/2011

My family and I stopped at the Palm Grill restaurant at the Sea Shell for lunch. I didn’t think we were in NJ anymore. The place is absolutely beautiful! We had a delicious lunch surrounded by palm trees and the sound of the ocean in the background. The burgers were huge and cooked to perfection. The fish tacos were like nothing I have ever had before. I will definitely order them again! The service was friendly and the drinks were cold. I recommend this place to every one of all ages! more
