If you're looking for the real deal then this is the place to go. There aren't many good African restaurants in the DC/Baltimore area, this is the exception. Space is limited and service is slower than at most American restaurants but isn't that the way it should be at an authentic African restaurant. All the food is tasty and tastes like it was made straight from Mama Ayesha herself. The only drawback is the excessively loud TV playing african video's mainly of girl's shaking their derriere. Would the experience be the same without that though?
