Staff will ignore you. If you can get them to bother selling you a bike, they will work at making you regret it. First, they don't open the door to let you out, they just watch you struggle and bang your way out. Then, if you bring your bike in for repair on Saturday, they will send you back out - again not helping with door. The 30 day tuneup left the bike in worse shape than new. Again not helping with door. Do yourself a favor and buy your bike elsewhere. Ridge Cyclery is no longer a good bike shop like it was 9 years ago. (see other review 2005) more

Horrible Customer Service - 2014 6/5/2014

Avoid ridge cyclery. If you walk into the shop, you will be ignored so long, you will probably leave anyway, If you stay and try to get help, you will be handled in a distracted, flippant manner. If you make the mistake of being a paying customer, you will feel even worse. Don't expect them to care if you get a bad fit with your bike, Don't expect them to open the door (so you don't bang up your new bike), Don't bring your bike in on Saturday, Don't expect to be notified when your bike is ready. Raleigh cheaped out on cable slack, so a simple handlebar upgrade is cost prohibitive. Don't be a customer here. Please Note: previous review is from 2005. Something changed and ridge cyclery doesn't want customers anymore. more

If you stick around after that, you will be handled in a distracted, flippant way that will make you feel like leaving. If you still end up being a paying customer, you will regret it. Don't expect them to open the door so you don't bang up your new bike, Don't bring your bike in on Saturday, Don't expect them to notify you when your bike is ready. Raleigh cheaped out on the cable slack, so a simple handlebar upgrade is cost prohibitive. Please Note: the positive review is for buying a part and is an old review. UPDATE: They Don't want to sell you a bike and they Don't want to deal with you if you do. more

Very Nice Staff 7/21/2005

I went in to get something for my bike. I told them what the problem was and the man knew exactly what I was talking about. He was very informative and had just what I needed. I brought it home and my husband fixed my bike for me - it works great now. Would definitely recommend them if you need a bike or need to fix one you already have. more
