Hoosier Theater has a very nice - old time - renovated theater. You get the feeling of walking back into time a bit but with all the modern conveniences. Cheaper then going to a major chain theater and they have movies not too long after they've been released. Nice home town feeling in downtown Whiting and the theater fits in perfectly

If you are looking for something a bit different than what is playing at the regular theaters then you would like The Town theater. They have foreign films and films that don't get to the big screen theaters. Big comfy seats and even an intermission where they serve refreshments. The only drawback is that they have one show a day and that's it.

Small store in downtown Highland but if you need any art supplies or office supplies (small selection of office items) then this is the spot. Very helpful staff and they do have quite a good selection of art supplies to keep you busy. I'm not a professional painter but they have anything I could possibly need. Location is great but hours aren't very long.

I brought it home and my husband fixed my bike for me - it works great now. Would definitely recommend them if you need a bike or need to fix one you already have.

Now there are two Kerasotes within a few blocks of each other. The older one has 14 screens and the newer has 12. Both have stadium style seating and the way they are setup seems like the theater is small and cozy. The seats are comfortable and screens and sound are good quality. The only drawback as with any theater is the pricing on concessions.

This studio is an extension of Hubbard Street Dance Company. Some of the instructors are past or current members of the company.
The classes go from ballet to hip hop and everything in between. Instructors are very knowledgeable and fun. My daughter and I both love it and don't mind the drive into the city to get there.

I found this store while coming out of Starbuck's and thought I would go in a take a look around. I found some items for my son that were still brand new. Gap and Old Navy items seem to be in abundance and you definately can't beat the price compared to retail. Even items that have been worn are very gently used and in great condition.
