Great Salon , had a cut and color and my hair never looked so good, priced right also. I like their shampoo and conditioners. Front desk was busy but nice.

Horrible! 2/16/2012

I went to Top Of The Class and they butchered my hair. It looks absolutely embarrassing. I could have done a better job cutting it myself. I tried this place because my friend recommended it to me because it is cheaper than the salon I normally go to, but you really do get what you pay for. Maybe the salon is better, but I am never going to Top Of The Class again. more

Great staff, knowledgeable about color and cuts to suit the client.Was offered a beverage and liked the signiture haircare line , excellent experience.Like the different pricing based on experience. more

Patience needed sometimes.... 2/25/2011

In response to InterestedS....It is not the receptionist's fault when a stylist runs behind. Sometimes the client before you is late or something else has caused them to run behind. As salons go, this one is great! These stylists work very hard and time is money, so I doubt they like running behind either. Sometimes you have to be patient and think about how hard everyone is working to make you happy. The receptionists are the ones who book the appointments with time that is programmed in the computer. I love Ricci's and know how professional they are. The owner is the same way. With 5 phone lines ringing and clients paying and booking their next appointments, I think that they do a great job! more

Love it!!! 11/5/2010

I have gone to Ricci's for years!! I have a crazy schedule so wherever there is an opening with whatever stylist, I grab it!! I have never been unhappy with my color or my cut, these are stylists who know what they are doing and do it well. They are a very busy salon and the receptionists are more then willing to accommodate my needs every time I call. I love it at Ricci's and I would never trust anyone else with my hair!!!! more

There are so many options at Ricci's Salon and Spa! There are different levels of stylists and prices to match! Everyone is friendly and I honestly have never had a bad experience there. I have been a loyal customer for 9 years and it keeps getting better! Also, the owner is very accomodating to everyone's needs! more

Great Service and Services 9/8/2010

Hi, I've been a client at Ricci's for well 8 or 9 years now...I just want to say first that Megan is great! She's nice and gentle and friendly and she does a good job with my color.\r \r I never tried the Spa before, but received a discount card in the mail recently, so I thought I would try a quick Massage. Well...Ginny your the greatest, and extremely knowledgeable in her technique etc...at first glance (no offense Ginny) I thought she would be on the soft side, but she not only surprised me with the strength but surrpasted my expectations. I have had a lot of great massages, and she is up there with the best of them. I highly recommend a massage with her, especially if you have any problems areas or under a lot of stress... Some stylists better than others 7/12/2010

I have been going to Ricci's on and off for the last 13 years. I started off going to Melissa but was never truly happy. The most recent time I went to her was about 2 years ago and had to return a week later because she left dark splotches of low light in my hair then claimed it was already there (really?). After my dissatisfaction with her, I started seeing Erin. Erin was pretty good off the bat but then I asked her to put some long layers in my hair and the result was not long layers. The pieces in the back were so short I could barely get them around a round brush. The cut was horrible and took about 4 months to grow out. Finally, last fall I made an appointment with Nikki. I have found Nikki to be the best stylist so far, she listens and I am never shocked with the result after I ask her to change either the cut or the color. more

Nice, convenient- but not good hair 6/10/2010

I've been going to Ricci's and Hero for years- it's so convenient, but I have to say that I've had more bad haircuts than good ones. Between me and my kids, I've had to return back to fix unsatisfactory work 3 times!! I had makeup done- had to go home and remove HUGE clumps in mascara. They are nice there, but I rarely walk out happy. I need to find a new place. more

Dan, Leah, all staff are the best! 4/20/2010

Dan is the best. When you don't like something, he immediately finds a remedy. I love going there. I go to Leah, she is really the greatest! I followed her from Top of the Class to the salon. She listens to what I want, shares her opinion, and together we decide on what will look good. My hair is important to me. The stylists and especially Dan know that.....great place!!!!! more

I have NEVER had a bad experience at Ricci's Hair Salon. I have been going there for years to have my haircut and colored. If I ever had a problem with the color my hairstylist would have no problem in fixing it. All of the receptionists are EXTREMELY friendly and accomodating. more

Nasty receptionists 2/12/2010

Stylists are pretty good but the front desk receptionists ruin it. Customer Service is lacking and appointments are always running behind. Not worth getting through the "bit**" in the front to get a hair cut. more

Ricci's Salon & Spa should weed out bad stylists. 11/13/2009

You get what you pay for. I received a certificate in the mail for a free haircut. Since I was looking for a new stylist, I accepted the offer. The stylist told me he had been there for 3-years. I told him exactly what I wanted (a simple bob) and he proceeded to destroy my hair. I actually had "bangs" in the back of my head. I also told him not to use product and he insisted that he needed to use "just a touch" and he used so much, my hair looked like a greasy mess. Thankfully, my hair grows fast and I was able to have it repaired elsewhere. I would be afraid to return, even with a more experienced stylist, because of the poor quality cut their employee gave me. more

5 STARS FOR CUTS / 2 STARS FOR COLOR 10/19/2009

I had gone to Riccis numerous times and have NEVER been dissapointed with a cut...NEVER...and I have very straight hair and is hard to work with and it allways complimented me. However, only one out of four times did I get a good color and for the price it should allways be a good color, The last time I had a color, it came out within a week after spending some $250. I was so disgusted about it I never went back! Part was my fault because being somewhat shy I never complained and if I did they probably would,ve tried to correct it BUT after that I lost ALOT of faith in them and didn,t trust they could fix it! I still highly recommend them for a salon cut!! I also know many other people very happy with their cuts!!! more

Ricci's Salons & Spas is great!! Loved it! 8/4/2009

I am a customer of Ricci's salon now because a friend of mine recommended Ricci's Salon and I went for a haircut.I was very happy about the cut since my hair is very fine and only few people know how to cut it.I liked the salon and the atmosphere there, everyone was very friendly and I had the feeling I was listened to and got what I wanted.A week later I went back for a coloring and it came out totally awesome!! I got compliments from everyone and I am very happy with it.I am going back for another cut today.This salon is the first one in years of looking who actually understand coloring and the way it is done in Europe! I would def.recommend them.The value was great as well! more

Top of the Class!! 7/27/2009

Great service! I am glad to see that there are options for those who may not be able to afford higher priced services. I went to "top of the class". I see another review from a Jolene that claims she went to "top of the head". I don't think this is the same place, but I had a great experience with my color and cut! Everyone was friendly and I was served a beverage as I waited for my stylist who was so busy! They must be doing something right??\r I totally enjoyed my time with everyone there and rebooked for 5 weeks! more

Ricci's Salons & Spas is the pits! 6/25/2009

I had the worse experience ever in a salon at the Top of the Head. The stylist did not listen to what I wanted. I left with yellow/red hair and I have dark brown/black hair. She dripped dye all over the place as she was putting it on my hair. She put it on my eye brows because she had screwed up the color of my hair so bad that my eye brows had to be colored to match. She missed my eye brows and left all the color on my face above my eyebrows. My cut was terrible and a real hack job. She should go back down stairs. I am 50 years old and never ever had to have my eyebrows colored. The receptionist at the front desk was nasty. I will never go back there and never recommend it. If what they are teaching is how to NOT listen to their customer and do a hack job then that is what this one stylist did. Go back to class!! You are at the bottom of it not the top.! more

Bad Client Review 4/17/2009

I happened to be at the hero barber shop when the lady Cindy C. came in to resolve an issue with her son's haircut. This women was out of control and everyone in the barbershop as well as the parking lot witnessed it. We all felt sorry for her young son who would not even get out of the car. I felt so sorry for the owner who was giving her one option after another standing behind his company.She would accept nothing! Just wanted to make a scene and she succeeded. I would have called the police to have her removed from the premises. One bad client can not slander a business when everything possible was offered to her and her son. Poor kid! more

ALL HYPE / NO SUBSTANCE 3/27/2009

No wonder Ricci's Salon/Hero Barbering prints coupons to get people in the door. It got me and my son in and now he's got a terrible, uneven, and hacked off haircut and the owner offers no apology for it. My son was so traumatized, he won't let anyone even try to fix it. This place is over rated, over priced and underwhelming. Get your hair cut some place else. This place is a joke. more

12-Year-Old Gets Bad Cut but no Apology from Owner - BAD SERVICE 3/23/2009

My son got a terrible haircut from Ricci's Salon/Hero Barbering and Dan the owner refused to see him for a scheduled appointment 2 weeks after the offending haircut, just steps outside the store to avoid further embarrassment to the child. We didn't want anything in return, other than to show him how bad the job was and maybe get an apology. Ricci's Salon/Hero Barbering supposedly offers superior quality work and service. We got neither. Get your hair cut someplace else. more
