I received a coupon for a cut and style at Ricci's. What a great place! I left a great haircut , the products I needed, and spent time talking to the receptionists while I waited...I felt like I was with my friends. Everyone is so nice. I just moved here from Texas and was worried about finding a new hairstylist. I found a great stylist and I think... a great group of friendly people throughout the salon. The owner Dan took the time to introduce himself and welcome me to Newtown! He had such positive energy, you knew he loved what he was doing. Thanks Ricci's

This academy is great especially if you are looking to spend as little money as possible. The cuts are great and are always under the supervision of the owner of the salon which is located upstairs. Very, very busy place but what I liked best is that they are open six days a week. Appointments are a must - No walk ins!! You get who you get - if you happen to like the girl who is in training to cut or colored your hair you can make an appointment for her right then and there - not after. Call ahead for hours.

Definitely luxury oriented. they offer some good packages and have specials for special occasions for mother's day and easter, etc. great hours that cater to working women. you can get a whole shebang or just get your nails done or hair.

After one of the first times I went to Shear Image for a haircut I came home unable to style my hair the way Tracey had done it. I went back a day or so later and Tracey not only showed me how to style my hair better, but also trimmed it into an easier to work with shape at no charge. All the stylists there are friendly, the prices are good and they are conveniently located near the corner of Mile Hill Road and South Main Street in Newtown.

I have visited this nail salon on several different occasions and have always had excellent results. The workers are very nice and there is a nonstop flow of conversation. Just makes you feel welcome. And no appointment is needed. Would recommend this to anyone looking to have a nice relaxing afternoon out!
